Interview with my 92 year old Grandmother from Dublin. 

She look good for 92 both physically and cognitively. Id believe if you said 72

raises lots of questions - why were there no men to do the jobs after the war? Had they joined up and got killed? Or were they all off working in England? What sort of work did she do that she could send £2 a week to her husband? Shouldn't it have been the other way around that he sent the money back to her when they were saving for a house?
