Leave the ranchers alone. There's not very many people willing to put in the work required to run a cattle ranch. It's more than a job it's a lifestyle. You can't make decisions based on numbers. Percentage of loss etc. Weather, predators, disease, are all real things in ranching. All these factors must be considred. I don't know a rancher that would knowingly allow livestock to perish. That's not the correct picture. A more realistic picture is a guy that gets up at 3am to ride out and check the heard because he's concerned with weather etc. Let them ranch.
What a crime against a man that worked hard did things right and these creeps stole his cattle! The current government piece of s.. I feel so bad for you sir! Also the cattle.. This is disgusting.
