Excellent program. Feeling so happy it is recorded at my beloved university. I wish if I could present there. I really want to come and attend next program.
Good effort. This is new territory for Bangla comedy and there's a lot to refine to get it just right. Props to the host. You have a very TV-friendly face and and come across as a genuinely nice guy.
Finally show ta dekhar shomoi pelam.... Continue doing what you are doing...And to add to what Shukhon Bhai said, majority local issues k niye jokes/comedy ta beshi korte than US/World leaders.....US jokes jara follow kore tader kache punch ta will make sense...Looking fwd to more shows Naveed Bhai

My ancestors lived in bangladesh but at the time of partition they came to india .I heard a lot about the places- borisal ,chattagram ,noakhali .My didun who is 85 years old now tells us about her past days in bangladesh and this evokes my desire to visit the beautiful country bangladesh.if we can see the shows ,movies of western world we also can see the programmes of our neighbour country.Trully the movies ,songs ,shows ,dramas are very close to my heart because overall i am a bengalee. Thank you so much .
To Dear Navid Vhai, I regularly watch American, UK late night shows like "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ,"Late Night with Seth Meyers", "The Late Late Show with James Corden".... so i was automatically unknowingly comparing these shows with yours in back of my mind while watching it and i was feeling so damn frustrated instead of laughing. I was not finding any single moment to laugh though i was trying to find one. it seemed so over acting to me both of host and the guest... i don`t know why!!!. I am really sorry for that vhai. But but later i thought that i should commend you for at least bring this concept in Bangladesh as first ever. I think it`s fresh and have a good future market in Bangladesh. It will only grow. So, i wish u all the best to you and your show. :) By the way, I am currently living in Berlin and i am an Alumni Of BRAC University where you have staged your show..... :) Suggestion: As your younger brother i have some point to make for more success of your show. 1. Say something funny that takes audience at least 2-3 seconds to sought it out and react (laugh & Clap) though not always but most of the time. Give audience some little time to think and react (laugh & Clap). Also, selecting topic of jokes and deliver them the above way i mentioned is important. Its also apply for the guests. 2. Plz, tell your guests not to laugh after telling a funny thing and specially not before the audience react (laugh & Clap). I know u know that and maintain that. 3. Bring something new, innovative funny ideas and elements of things. ex.- funny peoples like - "Actor - siddiq vhai" whose facial expression is good enough to make u laugh even before delivering any jokes. He can make a normal talk so funny only by his way of delivering it and his expression. So, I guess u know what i mean. 4. Addition of music or bands during the show time can also play a vital role i guess. 5. Funny background sounds with your "Monologue" on current issues but making it funny can be a good idea. 6. A little drama on current issues in bangladesh but present it with funny things and dialogues.. by the good funny Artists like in "SNL (Saturday Night Live)". That`s all. I don't know whether u will be angry seeing this??? :) and thinking "Choto mukhe Boro kotha" like.... i know u r very experienced in comedy. I saw u live in BRAC Auditorium in a Program. I also i m nobody to tell u these but i wrote you all these bcz I thought i should tell u what i found lacking in your show with my little knowledge and also the fact that i want to see Bangladesh to improve more in quality in Comedy sectors or shows related to comedy where our neighbor country India have improved in quality immensely in fact mastered it in some cases and created a huge market of comedy shows. So why should we be lagging behind them??!!!! Therefore i think your show must have to be a popular one gradually, its not a time to fail. That's why i want to see your show.. a successful one and of course bcz it's started in BRAC University.... :). Thank u.
Sometimes good thing can take time to be spreaded but it must last forever... I wish all the best for your show for boosting our banglai quality level in this field. Keep it up
The FORMAT has been used, which is used all around the world and has been around for 60 years. For that matter, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, all are using the same FORMAT.
32:20 Oops well that escalated so quickly haha. Mr. Naveed your calmness seems quite impressive but the audience could've played a bit more assisting role. I'm sure and I hope some day they will definitely help you out with that particular setback.
I really like this show. Naveed uncle is a great human being with confidence. He has a great sense of humour! There are a lot to learn from him!! I want to make few suggestions for this show. Please make it a little short. If it was a 20 minute show then more people would watch! Also bring in some new features like playing some games with the guest, wired question round, show some funny wired pictures of the guest! Have fun with the guest in different ways! Many great comedy shows last for only 20-25 minutes and had too many interesting contents in it!! Good luck!! @Naveed Mahbub
The show is actually 22 minutes longs - 7 minutes monologue, rest interview. The second 15 minute part can incorporate what you mentioned. What's here on RU-vid is the uncut version.
Of 'Masud Rana' and 'Kuasha' fame? That would be my dream come true. I have already initiated contacts with him, but he has not responded. I also hear that he does not make public/media appearances.

Like you said at 30:56, this was a bit too serious. We hear this version of Solaiman Shukhon very very often; was eagerly expecting to see a different version of him!
I want naveed mahmub to establish a tv show like mirrakkel....u r smart and also good for comedy.......ur english is not bad... .but I don't like ur banglish....it makes u lame sometimes..u may do better if u speak in bangla...
Trust me Naveed Mahbub I made my comment before watching Sukkhon telling about 45 minutes being too long!!!! You gotta bring in some 20-25 seconds trailer and make the show short!!
Naveed vai its a great show and its encourage us with the speech of guest along with your smart presentation, we learning a lot from here BUT when a guest is speaking dont interfere him always, let him/her finish first than you can say or ask something to guest, we noticed most of time for your interfere a guest not able to finish his/her speech even for your interfere an interesting topic changed to another non interesting topic. You are doing great as a standup comedian if you follow my above mentioned words hope you can do much better. Good Luck.
Different people have different styles of addressing people. Has got nothing to do with disrespecting them. The audience members here were mostly BRAC University students - so ages 18 to 22. My guest is in his late 30s. So, I presume he looked at his audience members as his younger brothers/sisters.
Navid vai, it is a public programme. So its not seems to good to address the aurdiances as "তুমি". Your reply was just for hiding the real thing. So, in my opinion you have to be fare when you are replying.
To Mr Naveed Mahbub -- please do not promote arrange marriages as it leads to many honor killings. Arrange marriage also result marriages among relatives (which is not good for the off-springs) as it happened in your case.
When we're bored with typical cheap bangla comedies, this show is really breaking all the stereotypes. Tnx Mr. Naveed mahbub for standardizing our comedy culture. It's true, humour is in your vein. When the whole world is full of negative & sad news that only increases the sadness of our mind this show really helps our mind to get some relief & have some fun. I think this show will also help to permeate some social values through fun to the young generations. But It's really pathetic to hear those lame logics for showing off from that so called social media activist. There are many discrepancies between his words & acts. that's hypocritic. I wish u won't do any such kind of thing to get some cheap "likes".
