Your family is wonderful! Cami & Papiere are very special. Seeing the love these two have for each other brings tears & smiles to my eyes. Cami is cute overload, intelligent & the sweetest most precious little girl! I pray someday I'll have a grandchild like Cami & esp. one that adores me like Cami adores Papiere. That's a Blessing beyond measure!!!🥰
Sometimes, Steve just doesn't get it. I'm sure someone taught Cami to call her Granddad "Pappiere!" Most toddlers would have a harder time saying "Pappiere" opposed to "poppa" or pop-pop. Steve act like Black people can't or don't know how to speak French, or he doesn't understand that Cami's parents may have been trying to expand her vocabulary. And then...and then, he has the audacity to try to "Black-splain" what may occur in Black culture, when it pertains to a family member's name and/or nickname. #JeezSteve #ExpandYourHorizons
Come on, now. I'm not a big SH fan, butt's really not that deep and I don't think there was any malice on his part. If you're not a French speaker, how would you recognise that word and what it means? He heard it and connected it to a word he is familiar with, thinking that - like any child of any race who is still developing their speaking skills - she mispronounced poppa. My only criticism here is that he do didn't his research, or rather, his producers didn't brief him that Pappiere is an actual word and not a toddler's corruption of a word.
Have been a fun of your Channel and I have been so much inspired by Tonny Collins story. I have a dream of hosting him in my Intentional mentorship program of our Children, Teens, and young adults. Something that got attention is how you messed with your daughter you aren't the best dad to her but God has turned your mess into a message. And in what God has rested in my heart is for us to come back in the lives of our children and be the best gift to them. My dream is too big. Bleaching the gap between the olds and the Youngsters. I really don't know how to connect with you but since God gave you the second chance to make up for your daughter and granddaughter I would love to have you and talk to our Men. Today there so many suicidal cases all over the world and as parents or guidance I feel we have a hand in it.Your story is Tearing. Please people hep me let this reach Tonny Collins.Am a Kenyan and at the foundation stage of Intentional mentorship to our children.Thank you
