I never heard of Drew before but Wow mind blown hes the best movie poster artist in the world! I have my walls covered in framed 80s movies posters and Ive always loved the artwork! Thanks for sharing man.
Thanks! Everybody everywhere knows his artwork, but nobody knows who he is. Isnt that strange? Hey that was once me too. I will see Drew in person at a convention soon. Thanks for the comment!
@@futurefinds3459 My apologies, but that's arguable. You'd definitely be surprised how many people can recognize Drew's name and his work amongst all the others that have tried in vain to replicate his style. His signature is iconic enough that even if you didn't know his last name, you at least recognized the "Drew" signature (I, for one, knew it by my eighth birthday and have been looking for them ever since). Regardless, thank you for helping introduce new fans to his amazing career. He truly elevated his craft and changed the way the world would see movie posters.
@@giggles7179 Thank you for your comment! I will correct myself----- I should not have said "nobody knows who he is" ....I should have said "alot of people dont know".
It’s tragic that the art of posters are dead. Once Upon A Time in Hollywood had a beautiful painting style to it,but lately it’s just sad. All giant heads and photoshop. The Irishman had a terrible poster which is confusing because Scorsese has a good eye for that stuff (look at Silence or Taxi Driver). Blade Runner 2049 was so sad too when compared to the original.
