Great reaction!! I love how the series expands & improves upon the books. Changing time periods & Louis’ race was the best decision! Changing premise of the show to a 2nd interview with older, experienced Daniel which also establishes a pre-existing history (adding a bit of antagonism from the trauma to that mortal interviewer) is *chef’s kiss* ❤ Daniel is an understated character but-to me-he’s mvp. At the same time, my absolute *favorite* character is someone you’ve yet to meet hehe

I hear ya on religion, Sis. Louis triggered me with that confession. I fell into despair in my 20s and ran to confession. The priest flat told me that the suicide I was contemplating was a sin against Jesus and that I would burn in eternal hell. Next day I was in ICU with my throat slit (trach tube) and well on my way out...but I'm still here to tell it.

I was very skeptical about this show when I saw the previews. I’m so happy I gave it a chance. The cast is amazing.

I can't see anyone else playing lestat other than this actor

I didn’t think that was snow or pollen, I thought it was cotton. I live in WA and certain times of the years cotton is floating everywhere and it looks like the fall upside down. Also, I thought Lestat had a direct hand in killing Paul until another reactor said that because Paul is mentally ill and overly religious, Lestat entering his mind at the dinner probably made him feel violated. Like his temple was tainted since he allowed the devil to enter his mind. Louie was fascinated by it which shows how completely different their mindsets are too.
