#TheZoneOfInterest had its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix and FIPRESCI Prizes, receiving some of the best reviews of the year, with many proclaiming it to be the best film of 2023. Stars #ChristianFriedel and #SandraHüller were kind enough to spend some time talking with #NextBestPicture Owner & Editor In Chief #MattNeglia about their experience working with filmmaker Jonathan Glazer on such a unique Holocaust film. I am so in awe of the performances given in this astounding work of art. In particular Ms. Huller who has two Academy award nominated films for this year. i believe it took great courage , given the subject matter, to not only accept but disappear into their characters . I have been to Auschwitz to see for myself this terrible monument to cruelty. I commend everyone who took part in this project to bring to life recognition of all who suffered. This film reminds us all that none of us are innocent. To all the artists responsible you have my most heartfelt gratitude.
