The man from Norwalk Calif, a very nice person. Funny when I first co founded onZa I first lived near Tinker's place. As onZa grew I than moved and next lived near John Tomac's home in the Semi Valley. Next move I ended up near Tommy Rogers place in Sand Canyon near CURTLO's bike barn factory. And the onZa office was close to Earthquake Jake's home. Now I live in Seattle and Curtlo is now about 100 miles east of me. "Small World".
I've known Doug Curtiss (curtlo) since 1991. I'm in IL, but drove up to his place in WA 20 years ago. You live in a killer mtb biking area, that's for sure...onZa was way cool. I had the bar ends for years and years.
onZa Porcupines were my first aftermarket upgrade to my first MTB back in the day 91 or 92? Had the bar ends at some point back then. Tinker is a legend!
Thanks for posting. Great to be remembered need of this legendary and pioneering champion. What a modest person for all his accomplishments. Tinker used to kill it in the 12 hours of razorback down in Reddick Florida.
The only reason I did not give up one this video was because of Tinker. He is an amazing human and cyclist! What a gentleman. This interview was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. So much horrible background talking. It was so rude to have such a star cyclist being basically drowned out by other conversations. Shame on you. Tinker deserved better.
