@@givennkosi5679 it is racism because, by saying the words 'south african african' sheis implying there are some south africans who are NOT afriican. this places her definition plainly in the realm of race. The word'black' may be condoned as an expression of her consciousness, but not the word African. These categories they have not invented, but adopted them from Apartheid. I am a Black Cosncious African. I should know a racist when I see one.

@@rokfam You completely lost it. In South Africa we have: south African European ( whites), South African Africans ( Blacks ) and South African Asians ( Chinese and the likes). In America we hear about African Americans and British Americans . Remember less than 30 years ago, white people of South Africa did not identify themselves as Africans but as European; South African Europeans n there was nothing wrong with that, it's who they are.... And there's nothing wrong with VC identifying her self as a South African, African woman. It's who she is.... N why does her identify bother you so much such that you label it as racist.... How was she suppose to identify herself ?.
