There is one point that I wish you had addressed, simply because I never thought I had the proper opportunity to ask Coach Kellogg while he was walking his two furious dogs down our street while carrying on conversation through his earpiece. I've always attempted to watch boundaries, especially with folks that are extremely busy. --- When I was a kid back in Southeastern New Mexico in the 60's I fell in love with the local high school basketball team. There were high scoring teams, often breaching the century mark, but what made them special was their implementation of the full court press. Their games were always dynamic, spectacular and very entertaining to the loyal Eagle fans. Full court pressing when players are committed to the defensive philosophy, is a game changer as your steals, and uncontested goals increase dramatically. -- Where did the genesis for Coach Kellogg occur to teach his players the full court press? Was it at Pearce H.S., A.C. or was it something he saw as an assistant or head coach early in his career? You can scan the stats at S.F.A. as well as the 1st season at WVU how the Full Court Press was instrumental in producing scoring results and keeping the opposition at bay from scoring. The proof is in the pudding when you see 3 of your players are ranked high nationally in steals as well the number of turnovers produced as a team. With the result of the turnovers also fuels that home side crowd as well. Thanks
