Recognisable ... I'm born with OND and nystagmus and when I was born I saw less than 5% with both eyes. Doctors & professors couldn't tell my parents how this would develop and they also told my parents what I probably was NOT able to do ... THough, on a VERY young age I already KNEW that my left eye would be somehow better and my right eye would be somehow worser. Now I'm 43 and I see 25% with my left eye and less than 1% with my right eye, I live on my own, I'm into art and music, I have 5 dogs and 2 cats ;-) You have a GREAT mom BTW! My mom unfortunately passed away on June 5 2017 :-( I'm glad that your mother fought for you that you could attend the mainstream school! I've been to a boarding school (institute for the blinds and partly sighteds) and I've been there for 11 years ...
