Meet Jessie, a 72 year old Veteran who sits at the corner of I75 and 8 mile almost everyday. Technically, he isn't homeless anymore, but he is still very hungry because he can't afford much food.
these on the street interviews are amazing the videos are done very well i like how you get them to open up and you can tell they enjoy sharing there story. Keep these videos coming great job.
First I want to say I like the vid. I also live in Detroit and as you would know also, there are many centers for the homeless. I hate to be the one to say this but this is the bling truth, there is no excuse for one to be homeless for thirty years especially in the type of society we live in now. I understand his struggle more than you can imagine, but people who are homeless that long are homeless by choice. I live in Detroit, do you know how many churches give free food everyday and clothe and give job opportunities to the homeless. Trust me there is no shortage of help for the homeless. This man has so many other things that he could do to get on his feet free of charge. There are countless help centers that would get him a job guaranteed. Just as being rich, being poor is a mindset.
Thanks for response Josh! I also agree with you that for most people being homeless is a choice. Check out episode 2 where I interview William. He says that he is free now and will never go back to the system of working for other people and paying bills. I also think its important to help the people around you and especially homeless people because they tend to be the most vulnerable.

I find this interview style extremely annoying the way you cut to a silent black screen for way too long. Are you wanted? Why can't you just keep the question part in and post an actual unedited interview? Just talk to the guy and post the damn interview. Simple.
