Avatar The Last Airbender one of my favorites shows still to this day and I’m currently watching it. From here on out I’ll watch the entire show start to finish once a year. Still one of the greatest fights ever.

Avatar the last air bender is peak fiction the best cartoon ever. Aang is a monk so he believes in peace instead of violence he could’ve been more aggressive throughout the fight but was hesitant because he doesn’t want to kill. They’re moments where he’s running but also moments where he clearly holds his own and keeps ozai on his toes but because he wants to end it without killing be hesitats. When he gets the Avatra state back he finally lets loose and puts in pain but he stands stong in his ideals and eventually ends it by taking away Ozais bending which imo is even more embarrassing that just beating him he literally sonned him

The thing people who say Aang should have killed Ozai don’t understand is that sparing him WASNT a choice, it was a NECESSITY for balance full stop 😤👏 To FINALLY put an end to the cycle of violence that has been perpetuated for GENERATIONS and destroyed the worlds it had to end with PEACE not more killing which would have galvanized the remaining fire loyalists to continued extremism and hatred. Aang HAD to prove Ozai was WRONG, that the ENTIRE air nomad philosophy wasn’t “weak” and that kindness doesn’t equal weakness. Being full of love and light, fighting for it BEAT being full of hatred and rage. By preserving his Nations most valued principle Aang not only proved his philosophy the superior one and brought REAL lasting peace but he also TRULY prevented the full extinction of his culture. If he had scarified his ideals like that at the end then the air Nomad way of life would have 100% been exterminated and the genocide would be COMPLETE. Ozai deserves to rot 😤👏
