Context for the submarine cause people are still getting this wrong : only one person onboard was a billionaire. One of them was a millionaire at a stretch cause of how owning assets works and all the money being legal IOUs. One was his 19yo kid who was pressured to go on board. And the last was a former French naval officer who later became the world's foremost expert on the Titanic shipwreck who was invited by the CEO; he worked with some of the first research teams who visited the site over 25 years ago, and legally has salvage jurisdiction over the wreck in collaboration with the American and British governments.
