I wanted to share about my experience with intimacy both during and after my ectopic pregnancy. It was something I really didn't know I would be worried about, and it seems I had legitimate reason to worry!

Hi, I'm Maggie and I have Crohn's disease. I am thrilled to be here sharing my personal experiences with Inflammatory Bowel Disease as well as living with an ostomy. I'm proud to share a little bit from a clinical experience as well, having worked as a GI pediatric nurse and ostomy telehealth nurse. I am so glad you are here. ♥ #ibd #crohnsdisease #ostomy

Dear Maggie. I look up to you even though I'm taller than you. I'm a single guy but there are times you brought me to tears. In a way I'm glad RU-vid brought you to me. Beforehand I knew very little about Ectopic pregnancies. Maggie, you're a perfect professor of giving me greater knowledge. Lots of precious 🤗. Wishing the best for you and Zak. 💋🌹

This is a so wholesome. More guys need to be like you, caring about things that don’t apply to them and curious about things that don’t apply to them because they genuinely care about people.

Loosing a pregnancy, whether wanted or not planned, is hard. The physical "trauma" heals so much faster than the emotional. It's also important that women know that every body and mind heals differently. Some can lock away the emotions and move on quickly, some women grieve for long periods of time. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you're grieving "wrong". There absolutely is no wrong way to grieve! That goes for any loss you're experiencing. Your heart will tell you when it's time to move on to the next phase in life. And it's 100% ok to seek therapy if you're having a hard time dealing with loss.

Losing a child is something that has been called the deepest pain a person can feel. Even though you never met your child, you are still a mother who lost her child. That takes time to move past. Wishing you the best.

Hey Maggie, i really love your honesty and the fact that you are sharing these sensitive informations. It’s super important to talk about these toppings in my opinion! There are still too many things that aren‘t discussed that much (especially for women) so i think your content is really standing out. I wish you and your husband all the best for the future❤ Greetings from Germany

I think with any kind of pregnancy loss, the mind and emotions take so much longer to heal than the body does. I know that was the case after my miscarriage. I was nervous, anxious, and not really sure whether I was ready to resume that part of my relationship with my husband again. It took time and patience to get past that. I think you are so brave to share your experience with all of us. Years ago, when I experienced this loss, no one wanted to talk about it. I felt so alone and so did my husband. I guarantee that someone watching your videos will have an easier time healing because you made them feel like they aren’t the only one going through this. You have the ability to help and touch people’s lives because of your experience that no one else has. God bless you Maggie (and Zak too) for your raw honesty. ❤

Hey Maggie, I am semi new to your channel; however, I wanted to share some of my experiences, with the hope that it helps you navigate this difficult time. I had a wonderful pregnancy with my son in 2020; however, the pregnancy ended in an emergency (not so much an emergency) c-section. Following that pregnancy, I got pregnant in January 2022, which resulted in a miscarriage (I know it’s not exactly what you went through, but somewhat similar without the surgery aspect). After that I was desperate to get pregnant, which happened in 3 months. After 9 months of the scariest pregnancy you can imagine I had my daughter via very much emergency c-section (the placenta ruptured the moment they cut into me for the c-section). With these experiences, I can tell you that numbness more than likely isn’t going away; but it does dulls or you get use to it overtime. The knot you have in one end is completely normal my did that both times and takes a really really long time to go away. Because of the rupture with my daughter my OB made a completely new c-section line. She did far better than my first c-section and I have had less numbness, it healed better, and looks better. So depending on how your surgeon did will affect those things to. Best of luck!!! Oh lastly try taking Mucinex the week you are ovulating that is how I got pregnant all three times. It really works and there are studies behind it.

Maggie, just take it slow with no pressure. The numbness above you scar can last for years. My last csection when we had my little sunshine girl was 12 1/2 years ago. I was able to continue intimacy as soon as bleeding stopped. But I still have patches of numbness, and i also had a stitch not heal cos it was sticking out. Midwife just trimmed it really close and it healed :) You'll be fine :)

All your vlogs about ectopic pregnancy have been so informative, more informative than many info I researched online and from what doctors have told me (they said so little about it when I was afraid to suffer from an ectopic pregnancy in 2022, but it was just a chemical pregnancy fortunately).

Maggie, you are so open an honest. As a mature woman with two children , now adults I had a miscarriage about 2 years after the second one. I thereafter did not put any pressure on wanting another child but decided to leave it up to fate if it happened or not ( it didnt). Just relax and if it happens , terrific but if it doesnt just accept that is what is meant to be, and look to other options for getting a child. Or not. You will go crazy if you put so much pressure on yourself to fall pregnant. Be well and happy.

11:31 Crohn's patient w/o ostomy who's first pregnancy ended in a c-section. The numbness above/around the incision is normal and it went away completely for me after about three years. It just takes a while for the nerves to heal. It feels weird for a while, but nothing's wrong with the healing it is normal. If you start feeling pain, call your OB immediately

That happened to a couple we knew years ago. They had been married 20 years, both established in their careers. They really were told that they could never have children, which they accepted and believed because it never happened. When she was 43, she was feeling run down, and the shock of her life was she was pregnant. It was a difficult one. They had a little girl and named her GiGi. We were all surprised. Congratulations on your little surprise.

I know how easy it is to try to pinpoint what caused an issue in pregnancy and I want to encourage you to shut that door and tell yourself you did everything you could for your baby and yourself. Any thoughts in your mind to suggest that you did something… shut it down. It’s hard enough to go through this without trying to put blame on ourselves ❤

I got pregnant with son using IUI. The doctor made me lay in his office, flat on my back for an hour. I wound up pregnant with twins but lost one early on. That being said, I wish he had made me lay there 2 hours because I know the exact moment the implantation took place and that was approximately 2 hours after insertion. I know you're going to think I'm a nut case...but I'm not. I was a teacher for 33 years and did fertility meds for two of my children. How did I know when implantation occurred? We were on our way home and all of a sudden I felt an electrical jolt (like a static poke) in my uterus but I immediately thot, "I'm pregnant" and I was.

I Subscribed to your You Tube channel because I have Crohn’s Disease. Three years ago, my treatment was changed to Entyvio infusions and that was later changed to Inflectra infusions. Unfortunately, these infusions weakened my immune system and I ended up spending a total of 3-1/2 weeks between two hospitals diagnosed with histoplasmosis. I even had dialysis three times before I was transferred to the second hospital. I love your videos except the ones like this about intimacy. It’s only my opinion, but I feel that this should be kept between your husband and you. I feel very creepy watching this type of video and I feel like I am invading your privacy. Therefore, I can’t watch this type of video. Otherwise, I love your channel‼️ I am still envious that you saw Living Colour in concert‼️
