The Priesthood demands there be an official adornment for its operations, and the outward dressing is meant to be a type and shadow of an inward configuration.
What God is after is an inner alignment of these outward garments, which represents an engrafting of the God'd natures in our hearts.
True Priesthood depicts Sacrifice and intercession, and we can only come into the fullness of the interactions of God, when we walk in Love.
