Just rode it for the first time yesterday, It was unbelievable. This is a great POV, but no video can truly capture the insane sense of speed on those turns.
Nothing can prepare you for that first drop and turn. All of us had the same experience. Vision started to go a little sensation of nearing passing out. It's incredible.
Yup! I had that experience 2 days ago riding it. I rode a lot of roller coasters ( season passholder at Hersheypark) but that ride had me lose my vision after the first turn. After getting off, I panic a little bit too. Too intense for me.
broooo i rode it yesterday and yes after the initial drop, half of my vision started to blur out as if I had an iron deficiency. I didn’t fully black out and i was fine after a second
@@zlikez A sign that someone blacked out is lost vision. We blacked out. lol It was a couple seconds for me. That ride's drop is my favorite compared to other roller coasters I have been on.
@@peacehappyb237 gotcha, yeah this was like my first time every going to an amusement park and the intimidator was like the 4th ride i got on. I cant imagine how i wouldve been if it were my first ride LOL
This was my first rollercoaster ever, my friends peer pressured me into riding it because I didn't want to be lame. I literally felt like I was disintegrating.
@@raingirlcat2245 I swear to god, I was with a new friend and his girlfriend, and I didn't want to be a sourpuss and say that I was afraid of rollercoasters/had never ridden one. I had no idea about G forces or anything like that, all I saw was that there was one super freaky drop initially and the rest looked like it was closer to the ground, so I thought I could manage it. What's funny is I didn't gray out on the first sharp turn at the bottom because I was hyperventilating so much and my brain was fully supplied with oxygen, my friends both grayed out. The rest of the ride was intense, but I was much less scared because we weren't so high up. I just remember being whipped around from side to side after the initial drop. I have never ridden another rollercoaster since and don't plan to.
@@GbawlZ this gave me such a chuckle. Absolutely bonkers beyond belief your first ever rollercoaster ride is i305 of all things. Been waiting a long time to get a ride on this due to living in the UK, one day though. It will happen 🤞🏻
Was just at Kings Dominion 2 days ago. I rode in the back car for the first time and the airtime I got going over the drop was amazing. This ride overall is just phenomenal. Such a fast and intense experience.
You know, the back row is great, but the front row is nothing to scoff at, just looking at the track literally blurring as you speed through the course, the intense wind in your face, and the fact that you're being pushed over the hills is amazing
I remember riding this beast when it was first built.. when i say she use to haul major ass. But not since the modification it is slightly slower and the trim breaks slow it down even more now. Still a great ride but no where near as awesome as it was when it FIRST opened.
This might be the most underappreciated coaster I've ever been on. All the love goes to millenoum force and intimidator gets oft-ignored or derided for the G's. This thing rocks.
I carried my daughter and her friend to Kings Dominion for her birthday. They weren't big enough to ride the big coasters, so I only rode the intimidator so they wouldn't be waiting on me all day. YES, that first turn had me seeing spots and my face was tingling, I almost got put to sleep. Almost. After my ride, I told my wife, we're gonna find some air-conditioning and eat, I didn't care how much it was gonna cost at this point, because my ass was done in. Being a little over 40, this thing kicked my butt. Videos of this coaster in no way compare to the experience. And I rode it after it was modified to pull less g's in the first turn. I've rode roller coasters all over the east coast in the US and this one is the only one I have no desire to get back on, mostly due to being older and it takes me longer to get all my blood flowing back correctly to my extremities, I used to could ride back to back all day. But after this ride, I wasn't the same. The wife and kids were laughing at me because I couldn't walk straight and was sweating profusely. Thrill factor 10 of 10. If only I was 20 again, I'd have a seat reserved for me.
I rode it back when it had the original turn and was like 12 years old and somehow didnt grey out but i went again a couple years later after they changed the turn and greyed out. Weird.
I've been on hundreds of coasters, I think this is the most intense, insane, unbelievable coaster. It's hard to believe they made this beast, and I'm glad it exists.
This ride is no joke. Almost 5 Gs of force on the first turn, one of my favorite rides. Damn near blacked out on that first turn, wasn't expecting that lol. Someone behind me blacked out and didn't wake up til after the ride was over lmao Edit. So many people were blacking out during the ride that they actually adjusted the first turn shortly after the ride opened. It's not as intense as it originally was (trust me it was intense), but it's still a hell of a ride.
@@realproperty1012 i haven’t rode this yet , because every time I go it’s closed !! But that’s my only concern is blacking out 😂 never have before but it doesn’t sound fun
Rode this yesterday for the first time and it blew my mind. It was absolutely hauling. Made Skyrush, which I had ridden the day before, seem like a kiddie coaster. The first airtime hill felt just as strong as Skyrushs. Was graying out everywhere felt like my head was going to get ripped off on the transitions. Can completely understand the OTSRs now, there'd be serious injuries without them. An absolute masterpiece
This coaster is truly SO ridiculously intense, and honestly I've been on a LOT of fast and high drop coasters including fury at carowinds and this one still has it beat imo. Bet you'll black out on it too 😂
Go watch a video of a fighter jet plane pilot, teaching people to not grey out.. I guarantee you would never grey out if you use this method on this coaster.
Looking forward to riding this in a few years! Dude, keep riding coasters! You are the guy that inspired me to create my channel so keep up the good work!!
I rode this for the first time last weekend, the last Giga I needed to ride in North America and I can comfortably say I've saved the best for last. I love Fury 325... but jesus this ride is so awesome. I love the absolute balls of this ride, every other Giga Coaster holds your hand, has very graceful elements, meanwhile I305 just literally wants to murder you and I LOVE that! It really is Millennium Force plus Maverick! The transitions are whippy but feel smooth and natural, the turns are so good and I grey out every single time, it's one of the most intense roller coasters I've ever ridden and I'm so thankful I got to ride it.
Rode it 23 times Easter Sunday of opening weekend before it was slowed down. Nearly blacked out every single time and kept coming back for me. Love it.
Don’t be scared, I just rode it after being super terrified and I’m telling you right now. This is more fun than scary 100%. This is not that bad when it come to fear, once you do it you’re having so much fun and you’re so proud of yourself.
As soon as you crest the top of the first drop the fear turns into excitement then you realize you shouldve been more scared of the turn 😂 but fr its amazing
@@Jayden_Moses its weird i didnt black out the first time i rode it when it had the original turn which was more intense, but a few years later i rode it after they changed the turn and started greying out. It was still awesome though lol
This coaster is the bomb!!! I rode it for the first time yesterday, and immediately came back today and rode it some more. I ended up riding it seven times lol. Yes, I greyed out on the first turn every single time. This coaster definitely throws you around, but it is so intense and fun. Absolutely worth the 12 hour drive!!! :]
Bro you have to I rode that mf in the front row and I nearly passed out my vision was totally gone like completely black and my face was tingling after the only issue I have with this ride is not being able to ride it over and over again because it's simply to intense to do so I can only ride it twice in a row before i need a break
I can't tell you how many times I've watched a POV of this ride... It's killing me! I cant wait to grey out on that first bend! Unfortunately kings dominion is so far! :(
Drove all the way from Oklahoma 2 years after this opened to ride this bad boy. Rode it three times in the front seat and twice in the back. That first drop is no joke. I greyed out on that turn after the first drop and felt like I was going to pass out for a few seconds. No other coaster that I've rode has ever done this. Crazy!
Oh wow! What an absolutely beautiful cloudless blue sky you had for filming that day! Oh yeah, and there was a rollercoaster in the video, that was cool too.
I rode this the year it came out...and when I tell you it was the first time ever blacking out on a coaster it was the first, broke my heart that I don't remember the majority of it. I remember coming to 3 different times during the ride and the last time I woke up was right before the ride was over.
I’ve ridden and loved roller coasters my whole life, Rode i305 yesterday and still haven’t physically recovered, nothing could prepare me for this beast.
I rode this yesterday and it was absolutely insane. Wouldn’t ride it again lol, but glad I can say I did. It’s insanely fast and that first drop is crazy. Somewhere along the way my vision started going black for like a second.
Same. Rode it 2 days ago and won't ride again even though I love roller coasters. Didn't like losing my vision after the first turn. My vision turned white.
Rode this for the first time the other day…first trip to King’s Dominion and I305 did not disappoint. Ended up getting 4 night rides on it. Dropping 300 feet into the pitch black forest was incredible. Top-tier coaster.
I've read comments from people who have reviewed this coaster, but this is the first POV that I ever watched. I was surprised to see no cobra rolls or inversions. Still looks like a lot of fun!
I remember riding the Intimidator 305 back in 2008 with my aunt. No one wanted to go on the ride with her but me 😆 I was 10 or 11 years old at the time. The initial drop into those corners was insane.
Just marathoned it for 2023. I don’t know what they did, but this thing is running better than ever, and somehow the airtime is actually strong. Still my favorite coaster to date.
This POV nor any other can do this ride justice. We go every other week and this ride is the best hands down....hands down! It is definitely in need of a paint touch up lol
I rode this coaster back in 2016 I think. I love roller coasters but this one did indeed intimidate me, and I loved every second on it 🤣 my vision definitely went fuzzy after the drop but the dude riding next to me was straight up blacking out, he was screaming his ass off and then his head would flop onto his shoulder, then he’d wake up, screech, and pass out again 😂😂😂 such fun
Brings back bad memories of the time I rode this, was halfway up the lift hill and realized I didn't secure my phone. I reached down to find my phone nearly halfway out of my pocket. I grabbed it so fast and held it the whole ride hoping I wouldn't let go. We both made it back safely fortunately!
First giga coaster I had ever been on. I cried going down that first drop. I swore I would never ride it again in 2015. I ended up changing my mind and went looking to ride it in 2019 and the ride had to be shut down due to mechanical issues. I was upset. I have ridden it in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. It’s awesome.
Just rode this 2 days ago and its now my favorite ride ive ever rode. I rode it five times in one day and lost some vision about 2 times out of the 5 on the first turn. I highly recommend the very front row for the best experience but for a first timer i would definitely go for the 4th and 5th rows.
me and my friend (both pretty young) decided to hit every coaster in this park, and no turning back. I remember the first time going on this, I had sat down, locked in my restraint and seatbelt, then I looked over at my friend and he was standing out of the cart shaking his head no. I just pulled him into the cart and pushed down his restraint for him. We ended up going on this ride 5 times 😂 we did front row on the fifth one, and it felt amazing.
me walking like a gigachad riding this 2 years ago now i have did the kingda ka the largest ever now there is nothing to fear but really to have fun Love roller coasters that focus on speed and sharp turns more than just drops:)
went on this yesterday, couldnt see anything from the start of the turn until the top of the second hill. i guess its nice to be able to watch it without going blind haha
Just went a few weeks ago and rode it at night. It was scarier at night since you didn't know which direction you were going. Haven't ridden this ride since 2011? I blacked out the last time I went but damn this ride goes just as fast as I remember. 10/10 ride
The Most Intense Ride of all times imo... The only coaster that really intimidates me... too intense for my taste and I get a bit of headache just watching and imagining me on that
No lie I thought I was gonna legit die on this ride...I had to sit on the little benches outsid5of it when I got off...my soul left my body on this ride....10/10 🎉
This was my fourth roller coaster I’ve ever ridden and I can really see what those ww2 pilots mean when they say it looks like a black curtain dropping over your eyes in a turn. Definitely ride it again as many times I can.
