My grand parents used to live in Krishan Nagar before moving to Delhi. We need more literature like this to remind us of those times. Thanks for sharing!
This reminds me of Lahore before portion , and my father and eldest brother were murderd at Wazirabad station platform. Anyway we became refugees and to India .there was next to Hiramandi there was aHaveli a big complex owned by Maharaja of Kashmir and my father was working there . I may be 12 years old . All thr memories have alive . Though my hometown was Gujranwala. We had a home there . Old civil Lines

dekhta kyan mere munh ki taraf.. Qaid-e- Azam ka pakistan dekh... What an irony..it rings so true today.. 10 million displaced , over a million dead- is any body better of today..
