Well he went to Cambridge. Was in the Famous Footlights with Mitchell and Webb etc. So at that point ur already stumbling toward success. But he makes it look easy. As do all the true masters of the arts. If u make something hard look easy u are a true master.
Wouldn't be surprised if it is an intentional statement on the absurdity of Michelin, a tire company, somehow becoming the arbiters of a system for ranking the gold standard in culinary experiences because they pulled off a marketing ploy lol Occasionally he does things that are basically a statement of "this is the respect that you/this event/activity deserves" 😂
More like a National Knick-knack, which is on the windowsill amongst other curios, that has to be rigorously explained to any non-discerning guests that point it out. :P
There's a reason I've never initiated a hug with someone I wasn't dating before. I am not a hugger but I am definitely a cuddler... As long as peeps don't do that weird shit... Bored chick I was dating awhile back used to just randomly try to tickle me or bite my chest like that's in anyway helping the delightful calm mood as I was just trying to enjoy the human contact. Every hug I've ever been apart of starts with the other person and then is extended by me slowly and awkward using a single hand to pat there back as I attempt to distance every inch of my body there hands aren't touching away from them. Excluding the few that were sexual or just confusing... I've been hugged on the street by a stranger then about 3 minutes later I asked them who they were. Or one time my sister at school had accidentally kicked a soft ball into my legs and I just kinda barely felt it but all of a sudden she jumped at me hugging me apologizing and I'm just sitting there staring at her wondering wtf she was sorry for waiting for the knife to slide into my back because I'ma pessimist I trust her and don't really care if she decided she wanted to kill me hey I may help her if she gave me a good enough reason I'ma good big brother my only real desire towards her is to protect her and see her happy if my death could do either of those things I'm all for it. Granted ig I don't really value my life... I'd give it up without thinking for a complete stranger just to make it mean something. Anyways I trust the little sister and don't care if the knife was about the slide in my back honestly I would have been more hurt that she thought she had to put it in my back... Look me in my eyes and I'll tell you I love you as you push it through my sternum and bury it in my heart. Way cuter.
@@jaimmerogers4383 and with all of that, Paul also worked as a fairly liked stand-up. While that was only in the US, I've learned never to be surprised by who knows who in the comedy world.
Yeah Paul Rudd is 50 but marvel require photos of you when you’re younger so they can do de-aging stuff if need be but they didn’t take one for Paul rudd because he looks the same as he did like 20 years ago
I saw a thing on a forum where someone took a photo of Paul Rudd from Halloween 6 (1995) and photoshopped the face onto him in Ant-Man (2015) and nobody noticed, despite them being 20 years apart.
you see him on the IT Crowd and you're like "wow he's good at that character" then you see him on other shows and you're like "oh nvm he's just Like That."
I remember him talking about IT crowd, asking the director if he should do any nerdy voices for Moss and he basically told him "no, just talk like you do"
He has done other/character acting in shows like The Mighty Boosh and Garth Marengi's Darkplace, but I think the danger is people write stuff for him now, so he's kinda typecast in the persona

@@FM0621 Richard said it several times starting at 3:43 then again at 3:50 - but yes, Paul also said it correctly at about 4:19. So they both got it right! 😊
@@rhyleesmumX - I’m glad you got to experience it now! I can tell you that, in my personal experience, it’s rarely said correctly except for in Finnish families and communities. At our family reunions a large portion of the day is committed to complaining about the frequent mispronunciation of the word *sauna* ~ an activity that is so dear to our Finnish hearts. 😌 LOL
25:03 "Gosh, that was a long walk".. nobody would think to say that except Richard. He's fascinating. edit: Also a trip to that museum is on my bucket list now. That guy is hilarious.. "don't try the crab".
@@andrzejpiaseczny2705 just thought you should know that if you want to continue to try to pretend to be Richard Ayoade, that he would never say "y’all"
"Delightful news for someone who cares" has become one of my family's favourite catchphrases. We're all a bit neuro-atypical, so Richard Ayoade is our hero. 😂
The more I get into the world of British panel show, the more I discover these community of people being collectively arouse by comedians. It started by Noel Fielding, it will end with David Mitchell.
Channel 4 needs to calm down with these compilations specifically created for me to procrastinate by watching this funny, intelligent, beautiful man...
All I am getting is deadpan autistic humor and I am HERE for it!!! This is the pinnacle of humor and nobody will convince me otherwise! "Applauding himself *over there* " I'll never get tired of his melodic voice. 😂❤
If there was a Chanel with 24/7 Richard ayonade shows (shows were he is the host or a guest or just the narrator) I would pay more the for Netflix an Amazon combined to watch this.
I sometimes feel that his character in the watch best explains him . He's always rocked this vibe of having just arrived , intelligent yet slightly preoccupied to near distraction because English isn't primary language and finally slightly uncomfortable in his human suit due to wrong number of appendages.

At 21:50 you've got everyone's childhood heartthrob Paul Rudd sitting next to Richard Ayoade comedy genius, and in the background a girl taking selfies thats... kind of hilarious
