I don't think I've ever been that scared on a bike before. Super intense stuff with my guest Steve Vanderhoek, under the rain down some very questionable things hahaha !!
Steve is a full time firefighter who lives in Vancouver, MTBiking has been his passion since the first free ride movement. His riding ability and bike handling makes him for me one of the most talented rider that i've ever ridden with, a pure pleasure to watch.

It's too bad Gopro doesn't have a feature like a live gyroscope and meter with; altitude, speed, angle etc. I can only imagine what the data would say. Ok guys! I know you can talk Gopro into doing this. Heck, Smart Phones even have this feature.

It´s so funny... The two kind of french cheese (Yoann & Remy) are melting together. In the last video Remy catched himself saying "and then we go braaap" and reminding himself that he is riding to much with Yoann. Yoann on the other side is saying sentences like "you have to controll every possible parameter before you do those things" ......

Stood at the top of the first feature in this segment just today with my crew. It's big and scary; the video does not do it justice. We said, "Holy s***, it looks like someone built up a landing under this cliff edge!" Couldnt believe people would ride it. You two made it look easy and fun. The skill level on that - and then the other two, much bigger and much longer and much scarier features is mind blowing!! Damn. A (scary) pleasure to watch and see what is possible. 🏆🏆

I love how relatable you make the experience of these sick lines in this video and others - the cautious approach, the sound of nervous breathing, and clear awareness of the potential consequences - it's no different than it is for normal schmoes like us doing stuff 20% as big in the dry. Seeing you guys push your limits methodically with such big spirit is inspiring for our much smaller adventures.

Steve had his full face on his backpack but due to only doing 'Greens' on this ride didn't bother with it 😄 Brilliant filming and editing to bring us as close to reality as you can be on film with stuff like this

Hectic boys. Absolutely f$^*ing hectic. I’m nowhere near an advanced rider yet but I really like Yoann’s approach. Find your line and what you need to do and focus completely on it. Looking and thinking too much fills your head with all the things you shouldn’t do. It’s technically sketchier to plan less but I’m really impressed to see it can work at the highest level. Hope you had many beers to celebrate this one 🍻🤘
