In spending just two nights without food and sleep because the extreme cold will not allow you to, I realised how precious society is, I realised how precious life is, how precious family and relationships are. I couldn't stop remembering them and you can call this attachment, but what if you went without any plans to return?
That is when your deepest and darkest fears show up like no shadow work could even approach. You cannot pretend out here and your fear of death will show up - you will be tested no matter how much you know or how confident you think you are. Attachments to people, places and things, the thirst for life all will haunt you the same way 'Maya' tempted 'The Buddha'.
This was a humbling experience. There is no one out there except a few mice. You are utterly alone, the only one and feels like something from the movie 'Cast Away' or 'Into The Wild'.
Coincidentally, today we celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi. I arrived in Delhi during Krishna Janmashtami, left for the peak during Hanuman vrat but to keep it real, I realised that you can be as brave as you'd like but somewhere you are weak, and you need to cherish relationships and life. For you are still alive, be grateful 🙏 believe me.
