Every one has there favorite love song, and this is mine with no close second. I can relate to it because my first wife was 16, and I was 23. Don't get the idea that we had to marry. Our one and only child was born four years later. The marriage ended after 14 years but the divorce was amicable and we all live with in a half hour of one another and get along well. Back to the song, I can hear it over and over and never get tired of listening to it. The guy would be a crowd pleaser on any talent show. Matter of fact , very few of the judges have a voice as perfect as Benny's.

Benny Mardones has been gone since last year when he passed away from Parkinson's disease and he will be remembered for his music and legacy and I miss him dearly and I never forgotten how talented he really was and I got some his songs on my phone and I played this song to honor him in my way of course

Sentí la gran necesidad de comentar. Este chico como todos los vocalistas de hoy en día y no solo en Chile, sino también Argentina y en el mundo entero, son muy de conservatorio, muy de escuela, Canta bien? y si, afina y llega al 90% de las notas y tiene lo suyo, pero el calibre, la potencia, energía, pasión y sentimiento e interpretación de Benny y los vocalistas de aquellas épocas están años luz por encima de cualquiera hoy. Debatible. Lo que pasa es que los vocalistas más empíricos cantaban sin mayor técnica y a lo que les daba la garganta y el diafragma y al pasar los 50-60 años ya no entonaban por no cuidarse. Una voz como la de este vocalista le va a dar para harto rato.
