I'd like to point out that this is the first time in the game-continuity that we've ever seen Freddy's up and running with kids having fun and animatronics performing. The closest we got before, iirc, was the simulator mode in Fnaf 6 (with nobody in the pizzeria itself, the hardmode level in Fnaf Help Wanted, and the opening cutscene in Security Breach. (Edit: Assuming, of course, that this is game-continuity)
Bonnie flossing really changes the lore. But honestly as a casual FNAF enjoyer I have literally no idea what’s going on but yes the animation looks wonderful.
This looks soooo goooood. It is literally all I could have asked for as an OG fan. Easter egg hunt at a true haunt in a charmingly retro SNES style horror game. Multiple endings, too! If the score is half as good as the pixel art I will be in [HEAVEN]. And the sound direction so far is giving me hope. There are rumours of Mega Cat Studios running an ARG before the game drops- and that being what he June 12th date is about. I gotta go look again because apparently we are back to using source code ciphers!
the Jeff's Pizza song is a lot of fun to listen to, I bet this is gonna be another one of "those" songs that you'll hear in a lot of theory videos over the next while.
The Fredbear's poster from Security Breach is interesting. Right now my guesses are leaning toward the idea it'll confirm Stitchline (which I don't love but hey it'd be better than this current limbo), but of course we'll have to see the game itself to see if it blatantly contradicts either the games or the books in the end. Unrelated to lore, looks fun! And I'm glad they don't seem to be calling the ARG off after it got leaked.
I think the FNAF lore content creators are gonna either be annoyed/frustrated, or accidentally creating a ton of lore theories that just cause confusion out of this game. It genuinely seems to just be a for fun game that's loaded with easter eggs. Like a high tier version of Scott's old troll-ish games, but now with it being a reference to the biggest meme of the time traveling ball pit and just having fun with it.
