After releasing the recent Isle documentary, many of you have been craving for more, which has made me even more excited to carry on with my next projects. At the moment, we have three documentary scripts in the works. In order to bring these scripts to life, we need to hire the right voice actor, which costs money. The last project was quite dear in terms of price, so if you would like to see more and feel like donating, any little bit helps!
This was very good, but a few points to make for your next project if they're like this and trying to get the david attenborough documentary vibe: Don't use abbreviated terms like "Juvi" like at 8:25. Use the full word instead. Similarly, I think the term "solo" was used earlier, where I think something more long-winded would fit the vibe better like "she could not take down one alone". The zoom at 9:20 kinda broke the vibe a bit for me. Felt like it push the action or the fact that it's a game more rather than being a believable filming crew. The cut to black also seems strange, but I can appreciate that the isle's combat doesn't look believable so it may well be the better choice for all I know. The reasoning for the fight between the stego & allo makes sense to a human but an animal would probably just prefer to eat. If you really wanted to push a stego and allo fight it'd probably have been more animalistically believable to suggest that the mother stego attacks the allo in aggression/defense of the now-dead young - this would also call back to the mother's "unpredictable" behaviour earlier in the script. In addition, there probably wasn't a reason to kill the stegosaurus mother? I'm not sure if she was supposed to have been injured in the allosaurus fight but that fight was pretty open and closed. This part of the ending was weak, though the rest was strong. Still, despite these they're only small complaints. I really enjoyed watching this and I'll look forward to your future projects :)!
Ya with a fresh kill I wondered why it attacked the mother as well the unpredictable script would of been more believable since it woulda had enough food since at that size the stego woulda gave her at least till the storm passed so she could hunt again.
This films so similarly to Planet Earth, amazing cinematography and script. There were barely any of the weird disconnected animations that happen with recording the gameplay and the scenery looked so good!
I was like: "ooh cool" and then the moment i clicked on it it turned from "ooh cool" to "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS AND WHY IS IT SO AMAZING!?" Great David Attenborough impression.
First of all I wanted to say that The Isle is the perfect game for such projects. But what you did here is outstanding. The camera work is pretty good, the Attenborough-esque narrator outstanding and the story feels very much like a good dinosaur documentary. What you did here, is exactly what I wanted for years since these dinosaur games arrived. Greetings from a palaeontology enthusiast from Germany!
blown.away. i loved the intro, love how you presented your title and name, loved the showcasing of different dinosaurs for the bringing of the main title, felt actual goosebumps from that amazing thunder cue as the voice actor said "come with us to journey with us through the storm" (might have quoted wrong), god so amazing. Also a great way to show case the abilites the Isle has to offer people if theyre not just looking for game play
That was really good! I especially liked the predatory rivalry between the Ceratos and Allos on display here! I hope you will make more documentaries like this in the future!
THIS WAS FANTASTIC!!!! Only criticism is the editing. While most parts were amazing, there were some audio hiccups and jerkiness when editing the clips together. But this was fantastic my dude!
This is the most on point David Attenborough impersonation I’ve ever seen. I’m seriously considering that David is an isle fan and has made this undercover
This was so good! That David Attenborough impression was great! All I would have done, and I know it's too late to suggest anything, but i would have used less slang terms like juvi and allo to make feel more authentic. But it was still beyond expectations for a Isle documentary. I'm going to watch the second one now!
ive been following your channel for a while now but this has really blown me away, the editing, story telling, cinematography. Its all just breath taking, I sincerely hope you do more like this in the future. keep up the great work
Okay so, I saw the comments about the voice. I was like meh, okay. Watched about 2 and a half mins with the sound off. Happened to turn it on. Got fucking BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER. I thought you had hum-dingered various Attenborough clips together for this. Really gave me a punch to the head. WELL DONE!!!
i saw this in my reccomended and thought it would just be another "documentary" where the camera just follows around the players and thats it, you good sir have thouroughly impressed and entertained me. For that I must thank you
I LOVE this!!!! I play the isle everyday and to see isle v3 as a like documentary is super cool! I also love the way you incorporated names we call the Dino’s (the Jurassic lion aka allo) I loved that! Great job!!!!
Nice Documentary !!! I would totally love to see more!! Also I believe everyone understand that this is a game... So I don't think you should cut out fight scenes or attack scenes so it can feel more "realistic"... I believe we can use our imagination with the game mechanics to make it feel more real to us... Keep making videos and looking forward to more !!!
Ok now I see why the David Attenborough talk was happening while I was on last night! (I said I wanted to try and make one myself but after seeing this masterpiece I'll leave it to the best!) Great stuff (Y)
Damn! Liked the video only after seeing that intro lmao. Im impressed by how smooth and slow u managed to move the camera. Harder than it looks! I usually keep it still, bc for some reason it moves either at the speed of light or nothing at all :/ All camera angles were amazing as well!
