I do wish this song was in the production at all times - it’s one of my favorite Sondheim songs

i wish so badly this were on the original cast official dvd and recording :(

I got Rapunzel for our schools production and when we did the read through I didn't even knew this song existed and it's sooo good

I was Rapunzel in our local Theatre's production of Into the Woods and to this day it is still one of my favorite roles I've ever played out of the 30 some the musical Productions that I've been in! What a treat to have been in multiple Sondheim musicals and been able to sing such beautiful Complicated music! Some of my other roles have been pretty similar to the character of Rapunzel such as Cosette in Les Mis and Meg March in Little Women ❤️

I feel like it's very underrated how funny this song also is. The constant hair gimmick gets me every time!

Is there anywhere to watch or buy the whole 10th Anniversary Reunion show recording?

Did Bernadette take it down an octave?
