Good evening Professional Bass ❤️ Let me introduce myself, I am African and I am from the Ivory Coast where I currently live. To be honest, I do not understand English since here we speak French. But I adapt to your gestures to understand your explanations even if gestures alone are not enough. I really appreciate your talent and dedication to thinking about us ❤️ I am a beginner in bass so I take care of uploading your videos to RU-vid to practice it. know that you have a fan here in Ivory Coast who really appreciates you, thank you ❤️
I've been watching your videos for a while and each one is so amazing! I'm always so excited when you put out a new one! I think myself and others would really enjoy having more bass covers for some modern worship songs, personally, I think you should put out a cover on the song "Believe for it" by Cece Winans. I know that you would have some super tasteful licks in there! Love you man, keep it up!
Travis I listened to many Kats on RU-vid teachings and tutorials but I relate to your lessons better because you actually slow down and actually teach what is being done and not trying to show off how fast or how great your skills are . I’ve been playing by ear so long and not understanding my fretboard like I should , I found myself manipulating the major pentatonic scale up and down the fret board sounding like a beast on tracks I’ve played on in the studio and they thought I was a beast but I knew that I could be better that’s why I need lessons to learn the scales, modes, and number system also my finger technique could be better I need your help Bro
I have a question, for someone with smaller hands would you recommend a J or P bass, I am fairly new to bass and wanted to buy me something to learn on that could also be used for playing in church without breaking the bank to start out, would lets say an Ibanez GSR200 be sufficient ?
Yo I’ve been watching you for a while now bro and you are killing with these breakdown videos BUT most of the gospel cats nowadays tune down a half step at least and that’s what makes these licks hit like they do. like in this clip you broke down after thad hit that lick he ended it with a low bflat I’ve seen this same thing in some of your other videos as well today’s gospel music requires that low bflat and I’m some case a low A that’s just my opinion
