I'm an intermediate guitar player and I've learned this song before but not with the detail that you put in your videos. I recently subscribed because i like the songs you play and how you teach them. To the point, no time messing around, and it is challenging for me. Thanks for putting the time in to make these videos!

It’s an impressive song to play, it catches people off guard when you pick a guitar up and play it. It’s got so much depth to it.

@@Elguapo93 Hey guys, Andy puts a whole lot of time and effort into composing these videos for us and the details down to every note are always spot on. If its possible and we know that times are tough for us all financially speaking it would be a good thing to go to his website and support him if you are in the position to do so. ITS ONLY BY OUR SUPPORT OF HIM THAT IT MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR HIMTO TEACH US THESE GREAT SONGS. Let us all try to have his back if we can afford it. i really appreciate your particular tutorial for this song because of the attention to detail and tips on how to get the right feel of the track, it really made a huge difference towards getting it to sound right and as a complete beginner improved my playing a lot specially for the intro part.

Great playing, thank you very much. Nothing much in fingers, no showing off, smooth voice and a big talent inspiring me to torture my guitar. Stumbled upon your website a month ago and was so glad. I've learned "Nothing else matters'' using your tutorial and my wife looks at me with an interest, like 40 years ago. God bless your soul Sir, thank you. To be able to see your lesson about Pink Floyd's "have a sigar''

This is fantastic. I learned the solo really well on electric guitar first to get the feel of the bends, then transitioned to acoustic and kept putting on lighter strings until i could hit the same notes with the bends.

I play this song all the time. I like to use Elixer custom light strings. The 3 lower strings (EAD) are their light string gauges and the upper 3 (GBE) are their extra light. It makes bending those strings (GBE) easier.

Yours is the ONLY lesson on RU-vid that shows how play this correctly, the way Gilmour does it... Now I know it is a pull off on that B string bend (5th fret) I couldn't get it to sound the way Gilmour does it from the other lessons. Thanks.

Great lesson .... I am always impressed by your feeling when you play. A great guitarist !! I had learned that piece years ago from a tab but it never sounded close to the record. Observing with close attention the way you move your fingers on the strings and all the little effects you add , has greatly improved my performance. It is certainly not a matter of accurate tab or good gear. It is just talent !!!

Yes!! The number of subscribers , or hits , should be through the roof. The strumming pattern, the tab, the chord window as he’s playing is all their. Absolutely the best of all worlds, when trying to learn a song, even the timing when he sings the vocals , ( which is a struggle for me) , is all their.. please keep using this format Dave. Much appreciated.

There is a "It might get Loud" video on youtube where Jimmy Page talks about using a banjo string for the high e and then replacing the b string with the regular high e, g with b, etc., to make them easier to bend.

Thank you, I've always known how to play the rhythm part and I'm just learning the solo part 20y later 🤷🏻‍♂️. The thing I love the most about this lesson is I can take this bluesy rift and change some things about it to make it my own once I'm done learning this song. I switch back and forth from metal to acoustic style songs but dimebag Darrell is one of my favorite guitarist and he has this unique playing style because he incorporates blues with metal and it's just the most awesome sounding stuff. Anyways thanks again.👍
