When overlaying the Whistle the whistle should come before the known cue so that it predicts the expected behavior

Been doing this with my 4 month old lab but i like the way you are doing the drill with the bumper. I have only been doing treats on this drill. She is turning 5 months soon so i think she will like getting the bumper involved.

I’ve been wanting a duck dog for a while, and I was wondering if other dogs can rub off on them because my current dogs do not have the best behavior

They can, but you rule the roost. Set time aside for you & new pup, build structure and learning together and spend time tightening up the other dog 🍻
