Wonderful video. I learned in 5 minutes what I couldn't get from class in a month. Thank you! Please make more videos!

A big thanks to you; I've watched quite a few vids now and most of the time, the video intended for us newbies, is explained by someone using jargon that the viewer is unfamiliar with; the videos end up being an explanation by someone who knows, to viewers who already know and the person who came to learn is left none the wiser.

Very good video. Many students need this way of teaching because we are not capable of imagine what happens in the electrical circuits, and this that you have done helps to it. (sorry if my english is not good). // Muy bueno el video. Esta forma de enseñar se necesita. Muchos no entendemos los circuitos eléctricos porque no somos capaz de imaginar lo que pasa en ellos, y esto que hicieron ayuda a conseguirlo.

The explanation was very insightful but at 4:15 you have used a resistor to set the reference current but in the beginning of the video you had mentioned the fact that resistors are hard to implement in an ic Could you please elaborate on this

wonderful stuff. Are you planning on making more of these? I'd love to work together on a idea I have for a series of scientific observations which explain the origin of fundamental technologies (such as battery, transistor, electromagnet....etc)

what if a high resistive mosfet is connected to the drain of the mos on the right. Wouldn't the mosfet on the top of it limit the current.

i understand that we have the same voltage Ube, but why is it that we have the same collecter current, if there is a resistor before the first transistor? is Ic only dependent of Ube, when they have the same supply voltage? thanks

What will happen if there is no feedback from collector to base of Iref? Cannot two transistors connected make current mirror?
@mandarpatil651
@mandarpatil651 7 лет назад
In MOSFETs how do we understand that the right-one is also in saturation? Only applying same Vgs to both transistors cannot prove that the right one will also be in saturation. Because only if we are able to prove that right MOSFET is in saturation, then only we can say that current will be mirrored. I know that end-result is that the current gets mirrored but I'm NOT ABLE TO DEDUCE the logic behind it Should we bias it externally? But then what will happen if it forms a part of a larger circuitry?
@jasincolegrove6651
@jasincolegrove6651 6 лет назад
Mandar Patil you use nearly identical transistors. Mosfets are voltage driven devices. So the gate node will drive both mosfets, if one is saturated then so won’t the other one. The gate voltage potential is identical to ground
