i'm excited about my first visit this december. I'm excited about going with my ricoh griii to shoot. Would you recommend buying any photograph gear in Japan?
Congrats on booking and have fun on your trip! I definitely would recommend buying gear there, both because foreigners save on tax and the yen right now. The used market quality is really good but I think over the past 2 years most of the good stuff has been already snatched up in the major areas. Map camera is where I bought a used lens from and used and yodobashi camera is a big electronics store
