Just pointing out there's a small problem with the playlist during the intro lectures. It skips from "2 (2 of 8)" to "3 (3 of 8)" to "4 (4 of 8)". Would be great if you could amend the list to include the entirety of sessions 2, 3, and 4.

Since about 70% of the U.S. economy is consumer-driven, we can assume that they produce much more of the nation's wealth. However, the top 1% topped a 261% increase in wealth while the bottom 150 million of Americans only saw 18% increase in their level of income. Did the super wealthy really need a huge fat tax cut?!
Nathan Dehnel cant you purchase a liscence to use a single software program? Also services are interchangeable in this theory I beleive, so if it helps to think of software as a service...
@@rinnicks In that sense the license is the commodity, not the program. But yes, speaking of the distribution of software (or even licenses as I just did) as a commodity is like an analogy that breaks down under scrutiny because copying programs is free, and distributing programs is very, very cheap. All the cost goes into production of one program and once it's made it takes nothing to produce an extra one.

@GodLovinConservative So the goal is ultimately to have an economy based on what i believe conservatives like to call "family values". The goal is to have no market exchange on the consumption level. Once we get from a highly advanced Capitalist society to a soviet controlled socialist society (in which workers control their production) once the productive froces are heightened enough there can be a beginning of the end of the need for markets. It is so centralised in its productive forces now that small business just can not keep up and the market is dying off. We understand that you marxists say, “outside too”. We also understand that your implementations of “outside too” are immoral. We understand that they fail, at best, and they kill people, at worst. You can give away every single thing you own in capitalism. You can practice the love you are espousing as much as you want.
