Intro to Paper Money Grading - Brief Overview of Currency Grading 

Great vid Ben! One of the hardest things to decipher in grading paper money is the AU/Low UNC grade. It can be VERY challenging to see the very light fold lending it an AU as opposed to UNC. Also, I agree with you that you really need to hold the note in hand to grade. The "stiffness" of the paper tells a tremendous amount of information. Holding it up to the light is a must and something I do to ALL of my notes especially ones purchased from online. Pictures can easily hide pinholes and light folds for that matter. Great stuff, keep up the vids on paper money. We need more folks talking about it and sharing it on YT!

I have gotten (what I consider) pretty good at grading after years of looking at coins. Paper money is a different story. Thanks for the overview!

Being offered is a one dollar bill From 2003 Series “A” with a unique ad-on. To the right of Washington on the obverse and on the outside of the seal is a black circle and inside the circle is a tree and inside the tree to the left is the figure of a person holding on to the tree and to the right of the tree is an animal with protruding ears or perhaps a gorilla. Quite magical. On the reverse on the left border is a black “Kay13”and on the top right border is stamped “GEILY“ Folded down the middle. $599
