Before my PBN course, I tried to prepare myself by searching for a video like this, I did not find anything useful except for a few government documents and marketing pamphlets. So, I have made a quick video to introduce PBN.

Great video and very helpful, one point tho, at 8:20 you said RAIM needs 6 satellites to “replace” the faulty one, but to my knowledge it can only identify and exclude the faulty one, not replace.

You said WAAS based GPS system must still use RAIM. The FAA has said that a RAIM check is not required if you are using a WAAS system and WAAS coverage has been checked to be available. This would seem to mean that WAAS can substitute for the 5/6 satellite requirements of RAIM. Am I understanding this correctly?
