in my state the tickets are kept behind a counter and you cannot see the sequential order. they also aren't going to pull from the middle of the pack to sell you one.

That whole number thing worked, I watched this video last night and this morning I went a bought a couple of the five dollar tickets and it was 30-34 and I won 3/4 of them won $110 and only spent $20!!!
Quick tip. i don't know how many other people know this but you don't have to scratch off the whole ticket to see if you won. Scratch usually near the bar code and you will see small letters. They abbreviate how much you won. For example if you see F V E you won $5 or T W T Y you won $20. But if u see a Z or P and B you lost
I won $500 on a 017 ticket. What I have seen is most winners are on odd numbers. I just got my first winning ticket on an even number tonight. But I just got my $5 back. So look for those odd numbers!
I sold lottery tickets for 10 years and i have seen a lot of first tickets and last tickets win big. The number doesn't matter. I had a guy who refused the last ticket in the pack so the next guy in line bought it and won $500..This happens all the time..So don't listen to that crap advice..
i ask my local 7-11 what number the tickets are or "are there any new ones" an he tells me what the low numbers are ( i only buy 000-008 ) most of the time unless im just bored. But i had one clerk tell me no its illegal. So maybe it is i dunno but the main guy always tells me.
My cut on this is... randomly occurring phenomena are clumped together. For example, if you have a bus that comes every 10 min, 6 will come in an hour. Your average wait time coming to a bus stop will be 5 min. If on the other hand you want a taxi and 6 come in an hour, your average wait time is now 10 min. This is because they come in clumps (i.e. 2-3 in 10 min then nothing for 20-30 min). You have a higher probability of hitting that 20-30 min empty stretch than the 10 min one with 2-3 cabs. Therefore, if the tickets are randomly distributed, probably a better strategy would be to buy one ticket at a time now and then. When you win, THEN you should buy several. You are more likely to be in a clump rather than in the dead space between clumps... Just my 2 cents...
I don't get it because we don't know where the prizes are because of the methods used by the "printer/Lottery" to decide where to put them in the print run. I think your saying that you can up your chances because there are more small prizes and fewer big prizes but your explanation is unclear.
i sale and see scratchers all day. some of the biggest winners have been the last ticket on the roll. it's all random and luck. I have people ask what the numbers are on the tickets and they will buy 10 of them, and win a few bucks maybe.

savage syndicate there are only a handful of states that deal with the letter code method on scratch offs anymore NJ is one of them and there may only be a few others most of the other states went to a method that the only way to find out if you won is to scratch the lottery ticket or to scratch the "scratch 2 cash" box on the corner of the ticket to find out if you won. Whats the reasoning here? Why would more winning tickets be in the middle of the pack? Its not as if they are saying "yeah lets put all the winners in the middle of the pack" If there are say 10 winners out of 1000, im sure a computer is randomly deciding where these winners will be printed. There's also the possibility of packs being shuffled with other packs. Trying to identify winners is foolish.
You're absolutely right! There is no pattern to scratch offs! These guys who say there is are just guessing and maybe got lucky a few times! Just watch a show on where lotto scratch offs are made and you will see there is no rhyme or reason to it!

They have so many in a pack the$30 tickets have 15 in a pack my boy knows a guy at his job only buys a few tickets out the book same numbers wins$500 to$1500 each time I played the same ones didn't get shit then got 50 and 60 one time and a couple 30s not every book has winners in the same place but some are and with only having 15 in a book you have better chance of winning.
Common sense says the companies that make these things to avoid the possibility of people cheating would not allow the tickets to have any specified order of what tickets are winning tickets and which ones are not they are randomly selected therefore there is no actual way of predicting which ones are going to be winning tickets and which ones are not that's why it's called chance
On scratchers ticket I accidentally scratched off the front number and barcode. There are barcodes on the back of the ticket but I dont know if it is valid

most tickets have already had the top prizes claimed, so when you play one that says $10,000,000 prize 98% of the time that has already been won so all you can ever win is the little prizes.
while it is legal for them to continue selling games that sold all their jackpots.. doesn't mean there's not a buncha 50,100,150,500$ etc winners. In Ohio, the higher denomination scratch-offs will have a white line on the perforation at various points. I have found that if you buy the tickets before and after that line, one of them will be a winner. It may not be much, but it is a winner. You ever heard of that?
I have heard too that the order of the ticket number is a pretty big key to increase chances. I've worked in a liquor store for a few years and I see a lot of strategies being done and I see the same faces and they ask what number the ticket is.

There is no strategy that lets you get a net profit from any tickets it's random. It has nothing to do with odd, even or what colour the sky is today.The only way to 'win' on average is to only spend what you can easily afford to and don't mind losing, assume the ticket price is a loss that you don't mind spending for a bit of fun, forget the chance of a big win, any win is a bonus. If you can only afford $2 a week then only spend that. That's the only 'secret' to scratch tickets or any other kind of gambling. The more you spend and the more you play on average you lose more. So only spend what you don't mind losing and forget all the 'systems' they are bullshit.
Just started playing, just turned 18. Got bored one day and bought a $3, won $9. Bought another three $3 with that and made $9.. So basically nothing happened there. I still had my original $6 profit. Bought a $5 and two $2 tickets because they were out of my $3 ones.. Won $30 off the $5 :D Overall so far I have profited $27 while multiplying my original investment by 10 :D So now I have $27 I didn't have before which I will carefree spend on more tickets in order to gain more profit :) In my opinion just buying 1 wastes time
