Introducing a new kitten to our cats 🐈👼🏻 

This was so emotional to watch you go through this journey, between Spicy being sick, Sour going missing, and you losing your dear grandfather. That's a lot to process and I'm glad you took some time off to yourself. It must be so healing to have Sour back and cuddling with Spicy. It sounds like they've really bonded. Hi! I'm a new viewer that came across your minimal apartment tour. I love the Japani style too! This video is so sweet and I love that you were able to experience adopting a kitten on your own! It's truly something I cannot put into words, it just makes my heart so happy! I wanted to lend my advice for nail clipping as I know a lot of cats don't like it and it was a huge worry for me as a new cat owner! I give my cat treats everytime I clip 1 nail, even when I don't but pretend to, and eventually she learned that she would get something tasty from it so she let's me do it now. I can even have her sit on my lap, belly up, and get all her nails in one sitting like those cat videos you see on instagram 😆. I always treat my cat when doing anything slightly uncomfortable! Even when the smoke detector alarm goes on, I give her a treat so she has a positive experience with it. It makes things a lot easier! I'm not an expert but have always been interested in animal behavior so I like to think that it worked for me. Maybe you can try that out! Hope that helps. Good luck! Also I just wanted to add that I'm so glad Sour was reunited with you guys! It's SUCH a terrifying feeling to be separated. My heart was pounding even though your videos are so calming! So sorry to hear about what happened to Sour (and to your grandpa of course). I can relate so much. My dog went missing 3 times last year and I couldn't bear it. Couldn't sleep, talk or work. Very cute! In a cat's world, it's all about scents. That's what their world largely consists of. Notice that they all immediately smelling everything related to "the other." After a period of time, their scents "mix" and they all adopt the same scent. That's when they consider themselves all part of the same collective and there is no "other." That evil Sour slipping out for an adventure! The call of the wild! They always remember where they live, though (although a cat will sometimes decide to move elsewhere on their own. My neighbor's cat liked my house better and just moved in!) Congratulations on being adopted by these three marvelous kitties!

Wow. That was like a full novel with ups and downs and a happy ending!

My grandpa passed away 3 weeks ago, just like you, I live in Canada and they are all in Vietnam, losing a loved one when we can’t be there is even harder. I had to take few days off from work, giving myself chances to express the feelings, selfcare and cry :( I am feeling a bit better now, go back to work, our life will move forwards despite anything happens. I learned it from living far from home, I just want to wish you all the best!

Wonderful story

Kitten probably had a upper respiratory infection, aka a cold. It stuffs up cats nose and decreases their interest in food. As food doesn't smell as good anymore. And also general, sick feeling which doesn't help with apatite. Glad everything worked out with kitten and cat returning home!

Nooooooooooo!!!! Don't buy the velvet cover couch!!!!! My parents had one and the cat scratched it once and the whole side of it just ruined. The velvet acted like very thin tights/socks and just one little hole became a giant cut/opening. Don't buy velvet couch, just DON'T! My parents had to send the furniture (the 2 big couches, 2 chairs and 8 dinner chair cushions since they were a set) and get new covers for them. And very glad you managed to get out of the hard situation! ❤❤❤❤ Hope everything is better now.

Upgrade your cat food quality. Purina One canned and dry, is a good brand. Most cat food brands are low quality, thats why you pay less. 🐈 Coyote attacks on outdoor cats and traffic fatalities are on the rise, so keep your cat INDOORS. If you have a senior cat, bring it in for a full senior blood panel. its a quick, easy way to assess its basic all around health, while its still early. Our cats can, and will, live longer. 🐱

Be careful while cutting their nails. It has to be ONLY in the transparent part of it, other than that, they feel a lot of pain. Really love your videos ❤

..that was a terrible introduction...but im glad your cats are all worked out in the end...still, that was the wrong way, improper way to introduce resident cats to meet with new cat. the hissing from sour at the beginning was a very bad sign, if something went wrong, kitten could get hurt or bitten, the over-stress situation could also cause both the resident cats and new cat to get sick, or vomit a lot. please keep this in mind and try to research a bit more on cat introduction if you will ever going to bring in another cat in the future. i dont mean to be negative, i do hope everything goes well with you. but your video is going to mislead so many viewers that this is okay, in fact in not, and should not how introduction should be approached.
