Hey everyone! So here's a video you've been asking for. The Teddy and Milo relationship. You can see how it forms which makes a stark difference from when Milo was a kitten harassing Niko haha. He's asserted his place and has no time for puppy nonsense now! He's chill with Teddy when he's relaxed and just sniffing but as soon as Teddy wants to play he's a hard no! Poor Teddy, he keeps trying and just wants to be loved. It definitely went a lot quicker introducing a kitten to the dogs than introducing a dog to the cat haha, cats are so stubborn....

Milo is just not used to the playful energy of a pup, as Teddy grows up and starts to slow down it will get easier for Milo to trust. They are so cute together.

My mother used to breed Labrador Retrievers - we always had a “Training Cat” for the puppies - and Milo is just such a cat. No actual damage, just a healthy respect for the paws.

I never heard it called that but I guess we had a "training cat" too. We didn't breed dogs, my parents just picked up strays from the pound when we needed a replacement dog. I never thought about it until your comment, but our cat was always "teaching" the new (rescue) dog the "rules" of the pack, I guess.

My lab grew up with my male cat. Cat was 5 yrs old when we got Buddy, he was 8 wks old. After a few weeks of cat slaps & teaching the pup who ruled the roost, they lived in perfect harmony. My cat has since passed away & Buddy is 11. He still loves any cat he sees

i think this is because when milo came, nico and phil are already a chilly smiley bunch, while when teddy came- he's all active and energy thus the sleep mode 😂😅

Poor Milo outnumbered by so many dogs but still manages to be cool about it. He’s the similar size to the new pup. I remember when we brought our Malamute home I had him on my lap. Oh memories

Hehe. I’m not really sure Niko would take Teddy’s side. She was basically Milo’s second mum when he first arrived as a kitten and the two of them used to play fight a LOT. There was quite a bond there. I think her joining Teddy was possibly more about her remembering the fun times play fighting with Milo and wanting to get in on the action as anything else! 😍

I wish Teddy could stay a puppy always (SOOOO cute!). I was thinking back to your other videos when Milo was the small one and he'd attack Niko and Phil. Now the tables have turned, but he still wears the fur pants! I think it was all an act anyway because he obviously was testing the boundaries. He is pure royalty. I love this video!

A Veterinarian told me eons ago that a male cat will exert dominance over every male of every species in the home (it was hilarious when mine would “attack” my ex 😜). Hence, His Majesty, Milomute, King of Quite a Lot. 👑 ❤️ 🐱
