@@tabbfirchau1No, it’s not. DJI’s comparable drone would be their Matrice 350 RTK which has a max flight time of 55 minutes and has a payload of 6 lbs, transmission range of 20km. Matrice 350 similar in size, but its purpose is commercial. So, yea…if they want to compete, they need to…compete…with their competitors.

And you think they will be open and bold enough to answer such questions?

@@JoshConnectMedia If they're not involved, they probably will make a statement, to get out in front of the negative press that's going to be hitting the US manufacturers that are paying politicians to push for laws banning their competitors products.

@@motionsick The problem with your statement is you cannot prove ANY data from a DJI in not already secure. Congress is currently trying to declassify the so-called secret intel showing some risk of using DJI drones. Do you have access to the top secret FBI data? I've owned every DJI drone since the F450. THEY DO NOT SEND DATA TO ANYONE (unless you turn on the flight log sync as an option)! I've port sniffed, port and socket monitored, etc... Not once did any of my DJI drones every attempt to "call home". So I assume the FBI has more info that NONE OF US are even aware of. Or... its all BS created by USA Drone Manufacture's Lobbyists. hmm Provide a link to anyone that can prove data is not secure on a DJI drone. Also, DJI DID do something to help all the cry babies calm down, the turned off the ability to sync flight data. Kinda sucks for those of us the rely on that data after jobs, but whatever now we just copy files manually. I hate using a Chinese Drones for work, but they are the only company on Earth that makes good drones at a good price. Freefly Systems is no where near where they need to be to really compete, but I sure hope they get there! They could offer this drone with a 80% off discount and it would still be too spendy for small DPS's.

Astro is a work drone, not some selfie toy. It flies better than any other drone on the market. You get what you pay with drones and I wouldn't trust any platform more with valuable payloads.

FreeFly has been around for a long time and the original astro is a couple years old now. I don't see any connection Between Astro Prime and the anti-chinese drone bills in Congress now.

Y'all better step up production and lower the price. $20000 is a little pricey. We don't need a hand crafted "Bentley" drone.

And we the customers are enabling it by buying these subpar overpriced products

Bruh, DJI can fly almost an hour. Nothing too special about larger blades also

@@tabbfirchau1 TAROT has been selling carbon fiber multicopter frames since at least 2009. Stop trying to pass off their frames and camera mounts as yours.

At the system level if you pay attention to details you can have big, slow, efficient props with awesome control bandwidth (more than needed) which is what we did here. Astro is substantially more precise than a big single rotor with 700mm or 800mm blades spinning 1000 to 1300 RPM.

Its like a mavic in the same way you are like the Rock

Why would you pay 3x the price for not as good tech

​@@_BL4CKB1RD_ By eliminating the competition the US manufacturer of drones can set whatever price they want to. They'll never compete with DJI especially with a workforce of 15 people 😅

ya matrice runs laps around this thing for a fraction of the price. this seems like a ploy to prey on the unlimited budgets of government agencies, these aren't for consumers or small business.

That’s because there drones are mainly for company’s not the everyday consumer. Company’s don’t care if it looks pretty.
