Shes so beautiful but rather than her beauty, i fell in love with her charm more. Sassy with soft and kind personality, who care more about people shes close with like staffs, her members and her fans while being decent and polite to everyone else. Shes truly a hard worker and single minded attitude about her career always being her main focus. It’s a sad reality but I think the majority of the hate directed towards her is internalized misogyny. She’s young, talented, beautiful, and successful. Rather than praise her, all people seem to be doing is tear her down. The double standards are real. When either male idols, or not overly “feminine” idols have questionable or cringey moments, their fans will bend backwards to defend them or laugh it off. she makes me want to be productive, people think she got everything handed to her but i don't. many people started where she did but few made it this far, when she went on produce there were people who were prettier, came from bigger companies or already had established fanbases. she worked hard to give people what they wanted and that eventually paid off and she became the youngest winner of produce after training for only one year and having no background in singing or dancing she worked so hard that with just a year of training she was able to wow judges in her 1st audition which is something most are not able to do with years of training , winning doesn't grantee success many people debut in these groups and never rise to this level of fame, she turned the "produce curse" into produce privilege, did every job she could modelling, MCing, variety shows and excelled, learned 3 languages and endured levels of hate that would make a grown man cry yet she still manages to smile. idols that don't have a golden carpet to ride on do what ever they can to get their foot in the door ;acting, modelling, variety shows ,MCing , comedy. Because they understand that once you are popular you have more opportunities to do music . when other idols like seungkwan, mijoo and eunwoo do this they are praised when wonyoung did this she was unfairly bashed by people who said that she should just be a model instead, this kind or double standard is infuriating to see so i cant imagine what its like to experience.

wonyoung is one of the strongest idols i've ever seen. i saw this girl debuting back in 2018 when she was announced as izone's center and since then the hate she's been suffering is astronomical (mind you she was 14). when she debuted in ive the hate got even worse and for the most baseless reasons. what i find extremely admirable about wonyoung is that she has got to a point that her personality became so strong that she will NOT stop acting cute just because you don't like it, she will not force herself to eat just because you tell her to (even though i can understand some people's genuine worry) and etc. because if we're getting real honest here, majority of people hate her because she's pretty and successful and they feel threatened by that so they want the hate to get to her asap and feel even angrier when they see her not reacting to it at all. im so glad that she realizes that this tells so much more about the haters than herself... about the lipsync scandal, for example, the criticism is understandable. but i've seen people sending her d**th threats and sending hate to her just because she's acting cute?? aegyo is just PURE fanservice and even if you hate her you need to admit she's one of the most professional idols on the game. some fans just love it yk. so PLEASE, pay respect to her name because you probably wouldnt handle 10% of what she has been through since she was a CHILD. i am proud of you, wonyoung
