It retrieves the value where product[product key] is identical to sales[product key]. or not identical explain a bit, please. But, in my opinion, it retrieves the value where matching is between [Search-columnName], [Search-Value].
If we already have a relationship between these two tables why do not we just add a calcualted column at least to get the same result , I think in this case no need to use "Lookupvalue", Am I right?
I am creating a variable to use in a measure, and I want the variable to return a single value from a row of a table in my model. I cannot figure how to use lookupvalue insolving my problem.
Hi Alberto, I have a calculated column in my sales table. This column uses LOOKUPVALUE() to get data from Items table. If I refresh my item tables should the calculated column in Sales table refresh on its own? or do I need to refresh Sales Table too? Thank you so very much
I always think why we dont have a blank visual where we can directly put dax table expression, and then have the option to change that visual by any other appropriate visual as suitable to the table expression. Result.
The Power BI architecture doesn't allow to a visual to create the DAX query. The visual just receives data, the query is generated by the underlying infrastructure.
