Thank you for your reactions! Fun thing, Moonbyul just opened her RU-vid channel in December, and she really named it MoonbyulYda. She doesn't use the jingle, and said she would pay Solar every time she used the jingle 🤣 Also, I'm not sure if you've already recorded part 2, but something to look out for: There are specific caption colors for each member: Solar - Blue Moonbyul - Red Wheein - White Hwasa - Yellow These were their colors for their 4 Seasons, 4 Colors project.They released 4 mini albums, in which each member represented a season and color. It kicked off with “Paint Me”, which introduced the project. Then “Star, Wind, Flower, Sun” which is a fan song. Both have MV’s. One of the many things that makes MAMAMOO stand out among other gg is that they work amazing as group but they also have a very strong sense of individuality. Loved your video💜. Would love to see u get to know Wheein. She is the ace of k-pop and most of the time people overlook how talented she is.

This is a great guide and Purple Hawke did a fantastic job making it entertaining as well as informative. I could have used more about Solar's leadership than the jokey clips of the members making fun of her and less of the muscle segment but you'll learn more about Solar's multi-faceted personality and subtle but strong leadership as you get to know them better. There's a good video called Solar Being the Leader and Mother of Mamamoo if you want more info on that subject. Imo it sounds affected to pronounce Solar with the accent on the 2nd syllable rather than the normal English pronunciation but of course you should say it however you want. As Purple Hawke explained, her stage name refers both to the solfege and to the sun as an English pun on her real name Kim Yongsun. She spells Solar 솔라 (Sol-La) as in do re mi fa ... and in Korean it's pronounced with equal stress on both syllables. When you're ready to dive into Moonbyul's solo work she has several albums and some non-album singles. She was the most recent member to release a solo album with 6equence on Jan 19. There are MVs or special videos for each of the 6 songs on the mini-album. The highlights are the title track Lunatic and the groundbreaking pre-release single Shutdown. It's an excellent album from start to finish.

As a moomoo (their fandom name), it warms my heart to see you take the time to get to know the member personalities behind the music and stage. Your appreciation for them is awesome. As you are discovering, this is a very special group of women. As individuals, each of them are amazing and unique. Their uniqueness combined together is definitely what makes Mamamoo special. Mamamoo is the make up of all 4 members, their chemistry on and off the stage, and what each brings to the group. Together they just work and work so well. Their music and vocals was what made me notice them. Their personalities and bond with each other is what made me fall in love with them and made me a fan. In terms of recommendations here are some MVs to get you started: Egotistic, Starry Night, Gogobebe, Decalcomanie, Windflower, Hip, Yes I am, Um Oh Ah Yeah, Piano Man, Mr. Ambiguous. There are also a lot of funny content out there of them outside their music. I'm sure moomoos will have plenty of recommendations if you're interested in diving into those as well.
