I've watched dozens of videos about battle vests, and I can honestly say you're the only one where I like 80% of your metal music taste. I also have some exactly the same patches as you, like Death, Opeth, Morbid Angel and so on. this is the first video I watched from you, but I really think you are a cool guy, and that said a introvert who doesen t write comments on youtube often:) have a nice day if you read this comment, and keep metal🤟

The long strip patches are cool and look great on the bottoms of a jacket. All the classics and some new bands, cool video. That AIC patch is awesome !!

Really cool!! Im 16 and i've been into metal for just over a year now so I really wanna start my first battle vest. Patches can be pretty expensive and I dont have the money to start collecting them atm, so I think I'll have to wait til I can get a little job first. Going to put lamb of god as the back patch as they're my favourite band. I'm going to see them this December too. First concert ever, cant wait! \m/ Also, I was born in the same hospital as Steve Harris so ive gotta get Maiden on my jacket too. Honestly feels like an honour Lol

@@BeardyRedViking Yeah I agree! Cant really find many my age who are into metal, but the community is definitely growing. I introduced my 10 year old niece to metal and she loves it! Her jaw dropped when I played her "Between the hammer and the anvil" by Judas Priest lol! But yeah I think I'll do just that with the patches. I hope I can finish my jacket by the end of this year, fingers crossed

It's a genuine surprise how many patches us big lads need to create a cut off, yes I'm that old I still call my battle jackets cut offs 🤣. I'm in the process of gathering patches for a death, black, doom one and its going to be a bit more shopping required to fill it. Great start to it though mate with some absolute classic bands. 🤘💀🤘

Haha, I think it's something a lot of us plan to do and put off! Funnily enough, I'm not great at sewing and am a master-procrastinator, so those have been my ready-made excuses the last 10 years! If I can do it though, anyone can. Get it made! 😂 Cheers! 🤘

I used to have a battle jacket when I was young; I was the only one intown who had a Running Wild back patch. Anyway, really enjoying your vid. All those patches really take me back :)

Cool jacket. I'm looking for some patches more also. One is Type O Negative. And one bigger would be great to have also like you have that BS, but I don't know what I'd like to. @@BeardyRedViking he does his own songs on there quite punky with hardcore style vocals which are good. I'm not a fan of his lyrics though and if you look in the comments of one of those videos you will see one with lots of replies. Well a lot have been deleted but you can get the jist from what's there. I had a couple of back and forth comments with him on there but I restrained myself from commenting further as I don't believe that I could have a normal/sensible conversation with him 🤣🤣.
