I'm sorry I have no experience of the DTM 200, but given my experience with Demak with my other bike (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w2VUAwmhx60.html). I would say the MLE is a better quality brand. But, I suggest you check them out for yourself.

hi there, can you put a review some. hows the bike. i think im getting mine tomorrw. saw the used one. think its about 2 yrs old. start the engine, sounds like new, no noise and knock. hows yours coming

Hi Brother, Mine is still going strong,. I do find the suspension a bit harsh and I mistakenly had somebody change the carburettor for me, he said it would make it faster. Well, it is, but it's also harder to ride as the pick up is not consistent and it keeps cutting out when I stop, so I wish i hadn't done it.Trouble is, of course the person that did it, was supposed to give me the old carb back but suddenly stopped replying my messages, Oh well. no pain no gain

Alan Cole thats wonderful to hear. im planning to put on a 19 wheel with offroad tires. maybe try some simple trail riding. im exited! traded my scooter for the bike hehe. daily commute of course

+CERIABEST SB Well I guess the obvious answer is, Yes, it is better than the Demak. Better put together, bigger physically and engine wise. But that's not the whole story. Firstly, it should be better it costs more than twice as much. Also, though it depends on what you intend to use the bike for. If it's City riding then the little Demak is perfect for in and out of traffic riding and quick trips to the shop. The engine seems as strong as an ox if looked after. For longer journeys I would prefer the MLE. Normally I take the MLE to work (about 20km ride on a highway) but at least once a week I take the Demak and it's still a lot of fun. I also prefer the Demak in really heavy rain as it's so easy handling and has proven super reliable in such weather. If I had to choose, I would go for the bigger bike everytime. Luckily though, I don't have to choose, so I can enjoy the MLE and have the Demak as a back up. Absolutely no problems with the MLE, as I said it's definitely better put together.

Hi..thanks for your prompt reply.I used to have 2 demak mopeds before. Quite reliable I must say but the the suspensions get worn very quicky.Needs extra tlc if you know what I mean.Sold both so I have now a Honda ex5 FI.so far very reliable and economical. Anyway I looking for smthn that is more fun to ride but doesn't break the bank account. A bit tired of mopeds actually.I do mostly city ride and wish to do some cross-country. On the moped forget about it.This MLE really is interesting.My friend once bought a MLE but was nicked within a month. Sorry about the long winding story.Enjoy your ride and ride safe.

+CERIABEST SB Well I would recommend the MLE for off road, The D7 not so much would probably bog down, not much pulling power. My friend had a full on MLE scrambler that he races offroad and that thing goes almost anywhere

+Alan Cole Hi..I don't intend to do much off road but the occasional dirt trail maybe.If doing dirt trail might need to change the tyres first to dual purpose. Have you done long distance trip on the MLE?Can it cruise 90-100 kph comfortably? as I intend to do some longer trip occasionally that require about 2 hrs on road. Im 6 foot 95ish kgm.Can the bike able to do long trips with 2 up?

yes the handguards are really nasty. But no changes to mine yet

+Alan Cole I see.So far i have changed the grips.Originals are hard.Changed to Modenas MR1(leftover from brother's bike) which are about 1 cm longer.At least they are softer.Btw I noticed that the speedometer is out about 15km/h compare to gps.

Boyracer James yes mine was well, the annoying thing is the factory could adjust them before they sent them out. Mine was 16 km fast but now is just 6 km fast. You can adjust it. Hold down the two buttons on the dashboard and turn the key on. You will see 4 numbers, mine was 2150. Apparently changing these numbers up or down changes the settings. A friend did mine for me.

+Alan Cole hi..just saw your reply. how do I change the numbers?I mean change from 2150 to what number?Anyway I've recently changed those levers.The bike can use Yamaha LC135 levers from Racing Boy.The brake fits without issue but the clutch need some grinding to fit.Only costs me Rm88 incld installation. Feels much better to hold and operate.Next on my list are those nasty handguards.cheers mate.

+Alan Cole hi..enjoyed it very much..it is a fun bike.Power is enough.Being a budget bike luckily Im a bit of a monkey wrench. Anyway my fuel gauge doesn't show up on the screen but when you on the ignition is shows briefly. Do you have this problem.About the video I will try to make some soon. Cheers.

+CERIABEST SB Ahh about the Fuel Gauage - They don't exist! My friend who had an MLE before me, told me that. It does show up as the dashboard goes through it's opening routine, but not after. However, you can easily do 225-250km between refills. I filled up 9.5 litres yesterday after 232 km's. So far for a budget bike, mine is very well put together, it's not at all like my Demak which is very fragile. Just run it in properly (I know it's hard but keep it at around 5 - 5500 rpm for the first 500km's (Oil change) then at 5500 for a further 500kms (oil change again) and then away you go.

+Alan Cole hi..I've just came back from the shop and it is true.It doesn't exist!hahaha.It's hard to keep between that rpm range.Engine only come into song 4000 and above.Consumption is about 25km/L I guess.Yes it is better than the Demak DTM 200.For less than RM1k difference overall build quality is way better. Surprisingly the stock exhaust is great. Cheers
