Felix, you need to learn about the free market. If I offer a widget for $100, and people willingly pay $100, then the price is **correct** for the market. People are buying these single engine planes with outdated engines for a million bucks.

So sad to hear #6000 was lost in that devastating event, I wasn't aware yours was among those destroyed. I'm glad you had so any great trips in her while you had her. I took delivery of #8000 and know exactly what you mean about these being unique birds. I've owned several Cirrus' but there is an added sense of joy with these milestone numbers. Really hope you're able to procure a replacement plane to get back up flying enjoying the blue skies again!

Diamond already is and has been on Jet-A1. Look up the 50 RG!

@@roguesrt I know, all the Diamonds burn kerosene (or even diesel in Europe). In the case of Cirrus with the airframe parachute it would be complete in it’s class. But thanks to remind it.
