Storm 11th Some people are hard of hearing and need to see the names of fish in writing, so that then if they wanted to research a fish from this video, they’d know what to search. Not really complicated, or lazy.
@@stormsouthside I can't hear a lot of the words and in one case there was a video cut in the middle of saying the fish name. Having good notes would def. help a lot of us. It would also help more people to find the video.
You are going to get requests now for every small fish there is. You’ve opened a whole can of it, my friend. Blessings as you grow-don’t forget us little guys! 😉
I love nano fish they're so adorable, i got some neon tetras and shrimp for the first time this week. this vid makes me wanna set up another tank lol. The hillstream loaches look like lil stingrays
Have you ever considered raising Amicas? An amazing small fish that is endangered in the wild. Amica splenden is one of the prettiest, and a joy to keep
oh I love those little Gouramis. I keep mine in a heavyly planted tank with some pseudomugil furcatus. they seem to like it and aren´t cautious anymore.
Also a note about the Dario Dario "Scarlet Badis"... The males will actually color up better when they're the only male in the tank (or when in a tank big enough that they can establish territories). When you have that many in a tank where they can't establish dominance, they stay more muted in color. Let a male become dominant though, and they look AMAZING!!
I've done chili rasboras with shrimp. They do great. They don't eat babies. They do need more cover than that, though. Put some moss in with them so they can dart in and out and then they will color up for you.
I am super into the nano fish. I have almost all of those already. You guys have great taste! I would add blue axelrodi rasbora. I don't have it ...you don't have it... it would be awesome!
The pictures I have seen of the Dwarf Rasboras, while very similar to the Chilis, are really pretty. I was thinking some of the reddish Rasboras with Red Cherrys would look great in a tank with a lot of black and green.
pygmy spotted rasbora i would say is shrimp safe. I have a mixed group of pygmy spotted rasbora and chili rasbora in my shrimp tank and i have shrimp babies. However, I have a lot of plants and moss in the aquarium. These smal rabora can be shy when they are in smal numbers so you need a group of more than ten. I really like the fish sektion of your shrimp room. The killi are beauteful :)
Shout out to Amanda! She and I are on the same page. Bettas, dario dario, chili rasboras, hasbrosius corys: these are the fish I keep. I added some yellow shrimp today. Rock on Flip!
Nice doggies, thanks for uploading. Having an easy day with man flu and watching great videos. Dustin needs to get some of your blue shrimp in his 240. Looking good pal, great rack(s)
Those ember tetras are awesome looking. May have to get a few of those. I have a Fluval Chi I need to do something with. How many would you keep in a five gallon? I want to get a koi Betta for it but after seeing those tetras, may have to change it up. A really colorful Nano fish I keep is the black bar Endler. Absolutely love their black orange and green colors. I’ve got maybe a half dozen males and 50 females! All the fry grow into females! It’s killing me cause the females are so bland looking.
Rob are you going to keep CPD's? I know I can't buy from you but they are my fave! They are like tiny trout, so I'd love to know if they are good for keeping with shrimp!
I have a 29 gallon tank that I'm going to be stocking with nano fishes and probably some beginner shrimp, you have almost all of the species that I'm going to be putting in there. Hopefully you don't sell out before I can buy them! One that I'd love to see and is hard to find, is pygmy hatchetfish.
Love the reticulated hillstream loaches, looking forward to getting a group of 3. I called my local pet shop a few weeks back (one of the last or last in Orlando) and hillstreams are actually more or less seasonal to get here. Either way, awesome pick in your aquariums!
how did the pygmy spotted rasboras do with shrimp?. im planning to put them with he shrimp i bought from u a while a go and dont want them to eat all the babies i have
Awesome variety of nano fish. I’d love to see, if it is not already listed on your website, parameters for the fish and comparability with either of the fresh water shrimp you carry.
Love the Nano fish tour!!! Do you know of anything that would go with a White cloud mountain minnow? They stay mostly at the top, so my tank looks empty. Thanks for sharing 😊
Very cool, I've had great success with emerald eye rasboras (not emerald dwarf) and consider them shrimp safe if you are looking for other shrimp safe species! Keep it up
i keep pigmy spoted rasbora and mosquito rasbora in main tank i have aswel ember tertas couple of endlers and loads of lamp eye fish . witch i think is the best to put lamp eye eggs into shrimp tank and they pick up all bugs . other thing that is slow grow fish . arround 1 cm i just put them back to main tank. after all my tanks is quite planted and breeding rate is still high i keep easy goin red rili shrimp with all my fish:) Greetings
As I'm setting up my 40B community tank for a breed or two of nanos (plus some shrimp, maybe a mystery snail), I'm excited to see you have all these. I have some planning to do, but I'll be ready to stock in about two weeks. Any chance you'd get some Odessa Barbs?
I love the killie fish. What is Amanda up to with the Betas? I really love them. I have 5 of them in 5 tanks. Is she going to breed and sell them? That would be cool. Then there would be someone reliable to get them from. I "rescue" one almost every time I go into a pet store.
Are ottocinclus safe for shrimp babies, please help, I have four of them with RCS in a 16 gallon tank, shfted the Harlequin to another tank after seeing this video
I’ve kept an ottocinclus in my shrimp tank for about the last 6 months. The only thing it does is occasionally push the shrimp off the food for a minute or two while it eats then moves on. I have witnessed baby shrimp crawling on it.
it's really hard to imagine their real size from the video, but I would really love to setup a 15 gallon aquascape with a fairly large group of tiny fish. So I'm looking for fish that are about the size of chili rasboras or pigmys. I've been looking around on he internet but like i said before from a video or a picture it's just hard to tell. Any suggestions?
I'm setting up a 40B for several species of nano fish. I want Exclamation Point Rasboras, Chili Rasboras, Pygmy Cories, and the one I'm having most trouble finding are Pygmy Hatchetfish. I'd love to be able to purchase the fish and some shrimp from you.
Hi ok I would like to see apistagammos there are so many and they are dwarf. Cichlids. The one I love the best is the Borellii green metal scales topped with Blue fins
I love this video you should get to make more of these kind of video's, the live video's are just to long for me to watch. And i would very much like to know more about these chili rasbora's :)
+Noah Landon feeding them kelp wafers. It seems to be their favorite at the moment. flipaquatics.com/collections/northfin-foods/products/northfin-kelp-wafers?variant=52568406212
