Yes please tell em,you do not have to upgrade cause they say u can!Im on my trusty G5 2.5 Quad core,runing Tiger 10.4.9 and pro tools 7.3! Stability is where its at, not always new and shiny! Also have the classic motif 6(which is how I found your vids) and roland mv-8800,M-audio projectmix,onyx 1620 board,two vxt6 krk monitors! love the info in the vids!
Im setting my watch for part 2. Great tip on constantly updating OS's everytime they come out (which nowadays seems like every year). Don't Do It. Im still rocking Snow Leopard also. I don't update until they MAKE me update. All my stuff is working just fine... Ohh and that Piano is cold!...
Great video, I got the xf keyboard, but it definitely isn't the full 88, I do a lot of playing and transporting my keyboard so it would be way to heavy for me to carry around. I've been wanting to know who makes good quality monitor speakers glad you went through everything

I askin' it because I listened to it... This is a last link in the chain, but a most vital one. All of the sound presented to you is from a speakers! Why is that? My opinion is that if you upgrade your stuff even there, you're got a much of new vison and colority, of course, you got feel much more comfotably! Once again, great work, I learned some stuff from your videos (playing kb's), I hope you keep on in a same rhytm!

That piano is nice however; it sounds as if the sampled tones were split. It's bright like a typical Yamaha grand but the low end sounds warm (and muffled at louder expressions) as if sampled from a German brand, just below the middle C. Was that intentional or is it still a work in progress? (It could be the camera's mics, as well but uncertain)

Jamal, hopefully you can help me out with this question. I purchased a focusrite saffire pro 14 audio interface. Would you be able to tell me if I can use that interface with protools or garage band? Do you think I should exchange it for the m-audio profire 610 instead? Im starting to buy my recording equipment, but I did not do a lot of research. Hopefully you can help. Thanks
It's amazing, ten years ago many people would have thought that keyboards would have succumbed to VSTs and merely just be glorified MIDI controllers. And now with the advent of flash ram...keyboards are reclaiming their rightful place within the gospel musicians arsenal.
