It’s been a while since I’ve been car shopping. I’ve had dash cam in the last 10 years and I’d never get on the road without it. What dash cam do you recommend for this vehicle? I’m interested in a single unit that captures both front and rear view. I don’t like the kind that you have to run another camera for the rear viewing. Also, interested on the kind that has parking features that doesn’t drain your car battery. I’m on my second dashcam “COXPAL” but it has issues with randomly turning off. Something compact and not bulky that gets in the way of your driving views. Keep up the good work gentlemen. Thank you!!!
I have the 2024 XLT hybrid. I would love the 4k tow package awd on the hybrid. I thought I didn't care for the orange accents, but after seeing the blue, I think I prefer orange. I wish they did grey plastic in the interior instead of keeping the blue. Just something more neutral. I also love the new screen and 360 camera is awesome (my wife's Kia Sedona has it and it's a game changer) but no more physical AC controls! I would rather have physical climate controls than stereo controls tbh. I use my steering wheel controls most of the time for volume and skipping songs, but probably adjust my climate once an hour and don't want to close my maps to adjust the temp or fan speed.
Here’s a question is there a awd hybrid option for the tremor? Personally I wish they kept the hard button for controls I’m not a fan of going through the screen to set stuff.
I bought a 2023 F150 last year. I am not in a hurry to rush out and buy a new Maverick or anything. However, I might be interested in scaling down to one in the next 3-5 years. I think these are starting to get pretty cool. I really kind of like the idea of the Lobo, but I find the 2.0 Eco to be a little wimpy for something that is supposed to be a high performance street truck. It would be cool if they could shoehorn in the 2.7L Nano. Give this thing 325HP and 400 lbs/ft of Torque right out the factory and then get it close to 400HP with a tune. Pair it with the 10 speed selectshift from the ecoboost mustang as well as maybe an optional 6 speed manual. If you are going to give us a performance Maverick, why half ass it?
Does the 25' have auto stop brake assist when parking? front and rear? I thought my 24' tremor did and learned the hard way with garage barrier cables. My titan had this feature, so I got used to it.
Ford really needs to hire a color consultant for the interiors. There probably is one who is screaming inside because they have been ignored. I love everything about my Maverick except the interior colors, which just make me sad because they could be so much better. Parts of the new ones work, but all of the colors of the interior have to work together and work with the exterior color. And these random flashes of bright color look like afterthoughts, not intentional design.
I have a 23XL and a 24 Lariat. That's enough for me. I can't get passed the geico lizard licking his eye front end. I drove Volkswagen rabbits for a lot of years so fwd is good enough for me. Toss a set of studs on and you're good to go.
Most reviewers will tell the audience that they don't like the old school rear view mirrors but they won't tell the Ford engineers that! if they would have mentioned that a couple times two years ago, you probably would have auto dimming rearview mirrors.. They don't wanna say anything because they think like they won't be invited back
I can’t say that I ever talked to an engineer before that day. It comes down to them watching our videos and I’ve brought that up many times on my old lariat
Other than the seats is the textured door panels, the same white color because it looks like it’s a tan color as well. You guys didn’t spend enough time inside the lariat.
Does any 2025 model have soft touch or fabric or something other than straight plastic for the sides of the doors? A big hold back for me on a Maverick was that it simply didn't look durable enough with that cheap plastic on the doors, and lightly used (
Ford: let's keep it simple and release the cheapest truck on the market. Ford sales: can't build enough to keep up with demand Ford 3 years later: let's throw a ton of bs at it and make it ridiculous cost just like everything else.
Thanks for the vid love all the content on the Mavricks. More car looks hard buttons in a truck not touch screen only. For suites don't get their hands dirty offroad or at work collecting the huge profits driving around their apparently Honda Ridgelines I guess.. Typical ford for the last few years price increase and trim paywalls that make no sense with ridiculous price increases and making them a less affordable truck.
Who's ready to pay almost 40k for a 22k truck? This truck's concept is great, but Ford/Dealers screwed it up. The base price has gone up 30-40%, the hybrid option isn't free, and you have to pay extra for it now, dealers are still ripping people off with "market adjustments".
I appreciate that! Glad you like our videos! However please don’t give our video a thumbs down for the vehicle.. just hurts our channel not the vehicle ;)
I apologize this is actually the first time I’ve actually commented something negative on RU-vid. I’ve retracted my Thumbs down. You guys are doing a great job. Would love to see more modifications towards the Mavericks. Ex: aftermarket audio upgrade. And disabling of tracking devices, such as telematics module and Wi-Fi modem 😉
No thanks! Build a simple basic pickup again like the Courier or early Ranger. Sadly it will never happen since making $$$ is more important than providing an affordable pickup for the masses.
Everyone knows people want physical buttons. Make no mistake, it is a cost cutting measure to put all the controls on a screen. I would think about trading up from a 24 to a 25 for the AWD Hybrid, but controls on a screen is a BIG NO for me.
Getting too complicated. It already had enough computer controlled items. Sometimes simple is better. I like my 2024 XL and hope to keep it for quite a while. The price on a base XL has increased around $4,000 since 2022.
Just got my 2024 too, but man do I wish I had Velocity Blue or Eruption Green as options and an AWD hybrid. Went with plain black because nothing jumped out at me. Glad Cactus Gray is gone.
I stand corrected on the price. I just saw today that all wheel drive is now standard on the XL. The price has now gone up over $6,000 since the 2022 model came out on a base XL.
Boo, bring back physical climate control buttons Also I much prefer a vertical to horizontal screen as a vertical screen give more real estate for Google maps (Android auto)
all the trims? so no more XL? did they forget what made the truck so popular? Are they going to all be 40k plus now? what a waste of a good thing. give me the XL hybrid awd for 30k and watch how many units they sell
@@PerformanceOnWheels epic. It's not as good as the 20k 22 version but that might make me delay getting my 24 fwd hybrid xl and wait for the 25. Thanks!
