I honesty have been using Nanlite *not sponsored....for a couple of years and the only gripe I have with them is the Forza series which i dont own has a massive ballast/while the FS series does the job well but its bulky...and heavy I was curious when godox was about to release this in Japan would love to try unfortunatly im not a gear review type of person however if i do have the opportunity would love to try it out since 100w is my niche

The two available reflector attachments seem to have exactly the same design as the permanently installed reflector in the LC-30Bi, which ensures very bright and even illumination without a hot spot. Is the ring on the front of the reflector attachments for the ML-100Bi also magnetic, as with the LC-30Bi? The front at least looks identical and a later accessory set with barn doors, grid, difussor and the like, which can be attached magnetically, as there is one for the LC-30Bi, would be perfect. In any case, I'm glad I waited to buy a 100 watt light in this flat design and can't wait for the first test reports.

Thx for asking. To ensure the lamp maintains high-quality output, the ML-15 & ML-36 integrates the ring and reflector into a single unit. Magnetic adsorption is a good point, and we are actively exploring and improving this aspect. You may see it in our next Godox & Litemons gear.

Currently support on-board and Bluetooth control. Control via godox light app would be more convenient and flexible

What is the power supply method for this lamp? Can the batteries be replaced? Can it use a Bowens mount?

The ML100bi does not have a built-in battery, it supports USB-C, DC power, and v-mount battery. There will be a Bowens adapter available within 1-2 months which also works for ML60iibi.

What’s the release date? This was announced nearly two months ago and there’s still no sign of it. I preordered and B&H said there’s no ETA and that I should cancel the order and order something different. What’s going on with this?

@@GODOXGlobal I ordered one of the sets. I guess I’ll be cancelling and ordering something else as B&H suggested to me. I guess you guys don’t like money? It’s probably a good idea not to piss off a major US retailer to the point where they’re telling customers not to buy your products.

⁠⁠thank you for your answer! So i if i understand correctly will it work with Ak-b01 with 2 np-f batteries and it gives 100% of the power 2xnpf have 14.4V? and second question v mount batteries have also 14.4V which one is better?

@@iSHOOTGR Theoretically, you can use the Ak-b01 with NP-F batteries, and it should provide the necessary power as two NP-F batteries together offer 14.4V or 14.8V. However, you may find it difficult to use because this accessory is not designed for the ML100bi. Also, there is a difference in power output between the two lights, and using NP-F batteries could significantly reduce the efficiency of illumination. It is recommended to use V-mount batteries or a power bank for the ML100bi to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

@@iSHOOTGR It would be around 50 minutes on full power with a 99wh battery. I guess two v-mounts will fit most of the outdoor projects, but it depends on what kind of effect you need.

Will all the Godox-mount ML modifiers (ML-CS30 lantern softbox, ML-GB Bowens adapter, MLP projection head, ML-SF50 octa, ML-L36 reflector etc.) also fit and work with the ML60iiBi and the AD300/AD400 strobes?

The accessories work for both ML60IIbi and ML100bi. For the flashes, they have different modifiers like BFP for projection.
