I am excited these are available. I placed my order really early on for a 32Cpre+ (which I have now). It sounds really nice! Thanks for releasing these. I do have a question though. I use Mixbus 32C and Mixbus 9 (as well as Bitwig), but it doesn't make sense to me that you are using these into Mixbus 10. I was under the impression that the Mixbus engine was always running its DSP to mimic the sound of the 32C hardware. Isn't running these modules into that particular software redundant? I haven't upgraded to Mixbus 10 since I am using external mic preamps, and again it seems redundant. I would appreciate any insight!
Hi Cole, the DAW doesn't have a modeled mic pre in the circuit. The intention with any DAW is to capture the sound coming in then process that sound once its recorded. The DAW also has other things the console doesn't have like a compressor, gate, tape drive etc. Hope that helps, Nathan
@@HarrisonAudio that does help. I misunderstood what the DSP was actually doing, and thought it was more than what it was (especially on a per track basis). Thank you for clarifying! On another note, I am really enjoying my 32Cpre+ module. I plan on grabbing some more as my finances allow. Thanks again for the clarification and the demonstration.
