They all pimp each others pedals. Watch a Wampler video, he always is demoing other people's pedals. He will stick one of his own in there to make a point of how a circuit is different or how a pot can shape a sound, but for the most part all these guys are just plain 'ol pedal freaks, regardless of who's it is. I watched Keeley talk about a JHS pedal. Crazy

Agree. Paul Gilbert is always entertaining as a player and as an interviewee. Really funny guy and definitely knows his stuff.

This is a new low for me. I just liked and replied to my own post with another account and now I feel a little ashamed . But not as much now since I'm going make this a post script also. Paul freakin KILLS IT! on guitar. I mean that is the best way. Thank you for making me aware of him and his scope of work. I was just having a wizard behind the curtain moment when I saw Andy just after I realised you were quite tall. I had to question my perceptions and add in the new info then process it and I did. It's all good. Tall people are great for reaching things up high and scaring away wolves . And it's ok if there is marketing behind pedal and demo shows. I just didn't realise it's a small world for y'all too.

Bill x Paul’s ear at nailing the DLR vocal nuances with the slide, and THEN throwing in the Eddie flourishes on top, really made me smile. Plus, Andy is a great rhythm guitarist.

Saw him live in Glasgow supporting Joe Satriani a few years ago I've been playing for over 40 years and considered myself pretty decent but I left the gig knowing I'm really not very good

@@tomthumb4325 I understand my brother, it's all about how much we play our guitar and weather or not, like some people,we are given the gift at birth where it comes easy and natural to excell at our art...and how much drive we had throughout life to work at getting to that place we want to get...i never had that drive to push myself to excell at anything,just the way it is..Maybe too many drugs at too young of age...Now shut up and go play your guitar...Peace.

I found out about him in Guitar magazines, Racer X sold their albums in guitar mags. His speed was amazing, grunge happened, Mr Big sank...and this ace guitarist basically got dismissed because he wasn't emotional enough, he also thought there was more to it than sheer speed. So he kinda relearned how to play. Arguably one of the best pure players ever.

No. One of the jams they do in the middle of the video is a song by Tubeway Army (included Gary Numan) from the album Replicas. I love that song and album.
