Yeah, I don't know if I'm ready to shell out $1200 - $1400 for a Chinese guitar when I could get a good condition American-made guitar used for that same price. I'm looking at a Gibson LP Studio from 2006 right now for $1050 that's going to make the same sounds this does. So what makes this so special that I need to pay extra to a totalitarian government?
@@kynoceph I have a few Gibsons and other nice USA guitars....and just picked up a used Lefty Lil Sis Crossroads last eve off Reverb...I expect it to be just as nice sounding and as playable as any USA-made guitar. My Chinese Eastman T486 is better sounding and equal in every way to my old Heritage "335" (535?) that cost double...my avatar. Where they're made is secondary unless there's a political point to be made...which I fully respect. I guess I'm a man of low principles. In fact, I can't see buying another Gibson as long as Eastman can continue to deliver amazing value instruments. Eyeing an acoustic...
